Believing in the mirage that life had created.
She saw through the lies.
She saw through the despicable people.
She saw through the pain.
She saw through the deception.
She saw through all that.
In Her Eyes she saw the darkness.
The darkness for what it was.
She wasn't like everyone else.
Believing it was the absence of light.
She saw through the blackness.
She saw through the evilness.
She saw through the hatred.
She saw through the terror.
She saw through the fears.
And she sat in a corner rocking herself back and forth as she wept for life.
