Chapter Twenty Three

"So day after tomorrow is the show right? " Hyunjin asked and Beomgyu nodded.

"Are you ready? " Soobin asked.

"I guess so.. "Beomgyu replied hesitantly.

They were having their usual chat before the class starts.

After a while Yeonjun entered the class room as well.

"Hyung I prepared for the show.. Will you lis-"

"sorry I have this thing so I have to go.. I'll catch up with you later " Yeonjun said without even looking at the younger boy.

"o-okay.. " Beomgyu said but Yeonjun already left.

Beomgyu kept on practicing until his performance all day and night. He didn't tell anyone what he's gonna do. Well he was about to tell it to Yeonjun but apparently Yeonjun had a thing  to do.

But Beomgyu really wanted to show it to Yeonjun and get his approval. So he texted him later.

Beomgyu's pov

Ouch, that was rude. I was gonna ask him if he's free to come over and listen to what I prepared for the show but after seeing his not so nice reply, decided not to.

I don't know what's gotten onto him but it hurts me. Is he suddenly tired of me or something? Or maybe I did something wrong? I kinda wish he was still here bothering me and all.

Still Beomgyu's pov

I kinda felt sick today so I didn't go to school. Hyunjin, Soobin and Taehyun called me to ask if I was okay. Kai and Ryujin texted me asking if I'm okay. All were concerned about me. All except Yeonjun hyung. The one who's usually concerned the most about me. My heart started aching again. This time it wasn't a physical pain.

At about 11pm I received a text from him.

Just a headache

"Oh" that's it?  And "u ok? " what's wrong with him? And what's wrong with me!?

Why am I getting hurt because of him. He wasn't here for me anyways and now why am I like this.

The show is tomorrow and I don't wanna do it at all. I have 0 motivation and the person who wrote my name was now ignoring me. Why did he even write my name in the first place if he's gonna do that? Was he trying to make me embarrassed in front of everyone?

But anyways at the end of the day I decided that I'm gonna go and do my thing at the show tomorrow. I'm not gonna be a loser. I'm not gonna hide just because he's ignoring me. I have many other friends anyways.
