Topper and I headed over to The Cameron's house I saw Sarah talking to a little girl so I went up to them "Hey" I said softly "Hi. Bailey this is my friend Diana" Sarah said introducing me to the young girl "Hi" she said back "I'm going to get you a drink and Diana is going to watch you okay?" Sarah asked "Okay," she said once Sarah left I was talking to the girl "I left my teddy on the boat," she said, "Oh, so you left on the boat right?" I asked she nodded "Okay, Bailey can you tell me what she looks like?" I ask "She has a trunk and blue ears," She said.

"Okay. I'm gonna get her for you" I tell her "Be careful of electricity" the little girl said "Don't worry I'll be okay" I assured her "Hey, there's 14,000 volts in those wires" Topper yells I smile. I bent a little too far forward and squealed "Hey, Di, be careful!" Rafe yells "Oh you gotta be kidding me. Diana, get down now!" Rose yells "Rose, calm down. I'm a cheerleader. I got this" I say smiling Sarah came out of the house "Ana, what are you doing?" Sarah asked "I'm getting Bailey's teddy," I say "watch this!" I say and look at the boys I jump and touch my toes in the air and land down perfectly fine "Diana, I'm not kidding" Topper yells "You're gonna get electrocuted!" Rose yells "Ana get down!" Rafe and Sarah yell at me I start shimmying and laughing "Diana that's not funny" Rafe yells "When I tell mom about this, Di" Topper tells me.

I got to the boat and got in I could see the wires weren't attached to anything and thought I'd scare everyone "I see her" I smiled back at Bailey "Diana!" Rose called and I touched the wire I fell into the boat and screamed making Topper, Sarah and Rafe run towards the boat. I laid there for a second not moving "Diana!" Bailey yelled "Diana! Diana" Rafe called "Oh my god" Sarah yelled running to Topper's side. I turned my head to look at my friend and lifted the wire smiling. Kelce started laughing "It's disconnected" I laugh. Rafe, Sarah and Topper all gave me stern looks while I just smiled "Absolute suckers" I laughed more "Rafe, you should see your face" I said smiling and walking back over to Bailey and up to them "Okay, yeah I'm sorry that I care. All right, guilty" Rafe says looking at me I just smiled "Congrats, you're officially her bitch" Topper says behind him "Hey, you two ran over too," Rafe said referring to Topper and Sarah.

"I hate you so much," Rafe said walking inside with me "Oh yeah?" I asked he hummed "Then what are you still doing here talking to me," I said "Touché," he said nodding "I'm sorry," I said he gave me a questioning look "for the whole I got electrocuted thing," I said "It's fine, you did scare me but it was a pretty good joke," he said smiling I looked at him for a second into his blue eyes I could see my reflection I smiled at him. "You know, my dad said that if Sarah and Topper break up then we have to get together for the sake of our families," Rafe told me "Yeah I know," I said "Kinda hoping they don't work out," he said looking me in the eyes, I swallowed hard he smiled and quickly kissed my lips and walked away leaving me there stunned.

I went to find Topper so we could go get lunch and I saw him talking to Ward "I heard he likes to kinda help himself to gear" I heard Top say "What gear, Topper?" Ward asked "I don't wanna be tellin' stories, sir. It's just, you got a lot of nice things layin' round and with John B here I'd just make sure everything's nailed down" Topper said Ward just nodded "Good to see you, Mr Cameron" Topper said walking to me "Did you tell Ward that John B was stealing from him?" I asked "No. nope, I was just telling him about how we did after the hurricane" Topper lied "Right? Let's go get food now" I said sceptically.

"Hello my dearest daughter," my mom said walking into my room. I was kind of afraid of what she was planning because she had that glint in her eye and she seemed a lot less uptight "Hi mom" I say semi concerned "So have you got a date to the Midsummers yet?" She asked smiling "No," I said blankly. "Midsummers isn't for another month," I say "No, it's actually in a couple of weeks," She said creasing her forehead, Oh my god it's in a couple of weeks no way. No way. "I don't have a dress or a date or even know what I'm doing with my hair and makeup" I started to panic "I have that Handled, you have a dress appointment at 2:00, they'll also do your makeup and hair on the night," my mother says "For real?" I ask her "Yes" she nods "And as for a date you should just wait. You have a pretty cute face and I'm sure someone will ask you soon" she smiles at me I give her a nod and a kiss on the cheek. I look at my clock beside my bed at 10:00 am "I'm going over to Sarah's for a bit" I told her "Okay, be home before 2:00" she said as I left my room.

"Sarah!" I yelled as I pulled into her driveway I turned off my music and got out of my car "Hi Mr Cameron" I yelled after seeing Ward "Hey Diana, what brings you back here" Ward said after referring to this morning "Oh, Sarah and I need to talk about midsummers. And about what we are wearing" I explained "Okay, she's right upstairs" He said pointing to the house I nodded, waved goodbye and headed inside. I walked to Sarah's room and knocked on her door "Rafe, for the last time I don't know what Perfume Di wears. Man up an-" Sarah says "It's nice to know what Rafe wants but it's me" I cut her off and walked in.

After talking about what we were wearing I started to walk down the hallway bumping into Rafe on my way out "Oh, hi" Rafe says holding my arms after we collided "Hey" I said smiling "What were you and my sister talking about?" He asked "Midsummer" I replied, "Oh, well speaking of which I was wondering if you would like to be my date?" Rafe asked sliding his hands from my arms to my hands. I look down and back up "I would love to," I said looking at him, he let go of my hands completely smiling I stood on my toes and whispered "I'm wearing grey," I said kissing his cheek and walking away, it was his turn stunned. Remembering what Sarah had said before as I reached the staircase I looked over at the tall Cameron "Christian Dior hypnotic poison" I said to him "What?" he asked his face scrunched "That's my perfume" I said smiling and running down the stairs to my car.

Walking into my house I locked the door and put the keys on the bench it was only 1:00 so I went and had a shower when I got out Sarah had called me "Guess what" She said sounding pissed "Who did what now" I said rhetorically "John B, I walked past him and said 'hey' and when he didn't say anything I made a smart remark and he said 'your secret is safe with me' referring to what happened yesterday on the boat and then he goes 'I just got fired because of you. and I know you can't imagine that, but some people need jobs so they can eat' and then hit my chips out of my hand. He thinks I told my dad the only person I told was you." Sarah ranted the other line went quiet "No I didn't tell, but I heard Topper talk to your dad about it earlier this morning" I told her "Of course, Topper asked me about John B this morning too, but the only other person who could know and told Topper is Whezzie" Sarah said "You go interrogate Wheeze and I'll do my dress fitting" I said about to hang up "Wait" Sarah said stopping me from hanging up "I was snooping through Rafe's room while he went out to the kitchen, and he left his laptop open and he was searching up what colours go with Grey and one of his tabs were hypnotic poison, whatever that means" Sarah said my heart couldn't help but melt from the fact he was trying to make sure we both looked good at midsummer and that he searched up my perfume. "Anyway Bye Di" Sarah hung up.

Walking downstairs my mother walked through the door with the dress fitter "Oh, Diana just in time" my mother grins at me, I walk towards the two people in my lounge room "Diana this is Alex Wright " my mother introduced us "Di is just fine" I said smiling and stretching out to shake the guy's hand "Okay let's get started" Alex said grabbing a collection of fabrics "I was hoping for a grey dress" I told him "Sure. I was thinking with your frame I'll do an open back, the bottom of the skirt would be almost like silk" Alex said, he must be extremely passionate about this "The theme is, Beauty, things like gods goddesses" my mother disrupts "Mom, don't you have work to do?" I ask "Yes dear I do," she said and left "Can we do something that kind of reminds me of medieval times?" I ask "Yes I definitely can," he says almost like he was thinking the same thing. Alex pulled out a detailed piece of cloth that almost looked like the type of chain a knight would have on their amour, and then a satin piece. "Half the top will be this," He said showing me the chain-like cloth "and the bottom will be the satin," Alex said pinning it to a book "I will have your dress ready in a day or two, Thank you for having me over. See you soon" Alex said leaving, I closed the door behind him.

Sitting on the couch for an hour watching a movie with Topper our mother walked down the stairs with suitcases "Your grandfather called, I'm going to the mainland for a couple of days I will be bringing him back for your testing though Diana" She said kissing our heads "No parties ether Topper" our mom scolded him "Diana threw the last one!" Top yelled "And that party was fan-fucking-tastic" I say quietly, Topper looked at me then to the front door, our mother was outside so we both jumped off the couch and ran to the window, once she was out of the street we looked at each other "I'm hosting this time," Topper says sternly "No I wan-" I went to say but was cut off by Tops hand covering my mouth "No buts. I am," he said letting go"Fine whatever," I said rolling my eyes "Yeah, keep rolling them maybe you'll find a brain back there" Topper said smugly, I walked upstairs to go to bed sticking my finger up.
