Bonus [Chpt. 21]

[a/n] i can't properly end this story without the main couple saying 'i love you' now, can i?

The day of the year Lisa graduated from high school, Jennie attends to show the love and support her girlfriend deserves the same way Lisa did for her graduation. She showed up captivating in a lovely short laced dress with one of Lisa's hoodies wrapped around her shoulder like it was some priced possession.

Lisa was already caught off guard when Jennie arrived looking so irresistibly adorable, but it was more amusing seeing her show up with a bunch of gifts too full for the brunette's embrace— a bouquet of daisies, a self-baked chocolate fudge cake, a huge furry stuffed-bear, and a limited issue of Lisa's new favourite series that the blonde wanted but was lazy to get herself since a long time ago. Jennie also got them both custom-made matching sneakers with small engravings of 'L♡J' for Lisa's and 'J♡L' for her own.

Some people would think that the brunette was overdoing it with the huge stuffed bear, but Lisa loved it.

Well, Jennie still didn't manage to outdo her gift when Lisa pulled up to her graduation in a brand new motorbike with red heart-shaped balloons tied to the ends of it, plus a rolex watch and likewise, a bouquet of daisies.

And when the blonde tossed her the keys to the vehicle, Jennie still couldn't believe Lisa got her a motorbike.

The rolex was already extravagant enough as a gift, but a motorbike?

Where the hell did Lisa even get the cash?

Oh right, her parents were stacked when they passed so now her girlfriend was stacked too.

Lisa would've gotten her a car as a gift, but she was seventeen then and couldn't get a license, so she got a license for the motorbike instead.

Regardless, Lisa would be just as grateful even if the brunette came empty-handed.

If this wasn't heartwarming enough for the blonde, Jennie was also the only one who came to support Lisa since the latter had no other family and her relatives were away— not that they'd even bother to take their time out for her even if they lived close anyway, so the blonde got too overwhelmed she ending up kissing Jennie in front of her entire school, whatever that was that successfully made the brunette's stomach flutter tremendously in the moment.

For some reason that Lisa was unsure of however, Jisoo didn't attend graduation day, which made the blonde feel a tad bit of loss from her absence. But it was all good since she had her girlfriend. Jisoo was probably just lazy relaxing at home in her bed playing video games, and it wouldn't even be a surprise if the girl just chose to opt for her awards and certificate to be mailed over to her house.

Its also been awhile since Lisa and Jennie managed to take the time out to head to the arcade, which was now considered part of their 'couple routine', as it has always been since they met. So right after Lisa's graduation, they settled with that plan.

"Your graduation speech... was out of this world."

"Why?" Lisa smirks, hands tightening on Jennie's waist as they made their way over to their car parked outside of the blonde's school, "Was it because I mentioned your name? I know, Darling, being associated with me is always great."

"No, dumbass," Jennie eyed her, "Do you even remember your entire speech from start to end? Want me to recite it for you?"

Before Lisa knew it, the brunette pulled out her phone and displayed a video of the blonde in front of the microphone just hours ago, hands with her certificate. Then the audio played.

'I would like to thank no one but myself for surviving the endless nights I had to stay up writing essays that I wouldn't even- I mean, that none of us students would even remember in the near future or rather, have any good use for it. I would like to thank myself, again, for conquering this hurdle at the age of eighteen marvellously, graduating with a scholarship to my next dream school since this will no longer, be my dream school once I'm out of here. Lastly, I would like to sound more humble by thanking my girlfriend Jennie Kim, for coming to support me today when no one else would, and for staying and loving me despite being constantly annoyed by this bratty and arrogant side of me. I adore her very much. Thank you, me.'
