She walked through the halls with her head down, people walked into her but she didn't complain. Her name was hyejin, Kang Hyejin. She had long black hair, pale skin, dark brown eyes and pink tinted lips that had a coat of lip gloss over them.

She entered her first lesson which was mathematics, she took a seat at her usual desk at the back and placed her head on the desk closing her eyes. She hadn't gotten much sleep the night before due to her parents fighting like usual.

The bell had rang waking hyejin up from her nap, she fixed her hair and held her pen in her hand and students piled in laughing and chatted, not one looked her way. She was that invisible, it was okay she enjoyed that. She enjoyed being unnoticed.

"hyejin" her name was whispered and she turned to her side to see her only friend chaeyoung "oh hi" hyejin replied "how are you doing?" chaeyoung asked her "I'm doing fine, what about you?" hyejin asked "I'm doing great" she smiled brightly "are you coming to the end of semester football game?" chaeyoung added on "you know I don't go to school events, why are you asking?" hyejin replied "you need to make more friends, I can't just be your only friend. I want you to experience a normal teenagers life and-" chaeyoung was cut off my hyejin "I know what you want but It's not what I want, your the only friend I need" hyejin said and chaeyoung didn't reply she just sighed.

Hyejin and chaeyoung have been friends since middle school, hyejin was the quiet kid the same as now. Chaeyoung decided to approach her one day and it took a while for hyejin to accept the fact someone wanted to be friends with her and she finally allowed someone in. Hyejin tells chaeyoung everything she trusts her with her whole life, it's amazing actually.

The bell rang and hyejin walked down the hall, it was break she just finished period two which was English. Hyejin walked into the schools library and sat right at the back where no one goes, she likes this part of the library because all the books back here are ones that had been written years and years ago, most of them were covered in dust. All the books had a very deep meaning written in them.

Hyejin scanned her finger along the books searching for one, she picked up one that had a hard cover, the words written on the book was 'a story of society and people' she tried to find an authors name but she couldn't.

She sat down opening up the book and scanned the contents. She flipped the pages, the fresh smell of untouched books were her favourite it gave her a sense of comfort.

She was too invested in her book to notice the tall boy that was watching her, he was tall with black hair a sharp jawline and smooth tanned skin. He knew who she was, he was the only boy that noticed her. A small smile creeped up onto his face as he watched her concentrate on her book, she tucked her hair behind her ear every time a piece fell in front of her face.

She looked up and saw him stood there he quickly looked away pretending to look at books "I've never been here before" he lied but tried to talk to her for the first time hyejin only replied with a hum which disappointed him, he wanted to talk to her, hear her voice.

"Do you always come here?" He spoke again "no" hyejin lied, the boy felt a feeling in his stomach hearing her voice "I'm Taehyung, Kim Taehyung what's your name?" he already knew her name, hyejin was confused why someone like him was talking to someone like her.

"uh hyejin, Kang Hyejin" she replied and he smiled "nice to meet you hyejin, I've got to go but hope to talk to you again" Taehyung said and he left, hyejin tried to make sense of what happened but she just shook it off and went back to reading.
