The Ball

Above is the picture of the ballroom, and sorry for being so inactive and not updating.
Alessia gasped as she and the rest of the girls entered the grand ballroom. It seemed even larger than before and was decorated in such a intricate way everything looked like even the tiniest gush of wind could break it. Spotting her parents gesturing her to come up to meet them Alessia quickly said goodbye and rushed upstairs.
Angela embraced her, "You look so beautiful, darling. You look just like your grandmother, Hermione Europa Roman. My mother."
Alessia smiled brightly and went to her father.
"You seem ready. Draco will be shortly arriving and you two fill walk down to the ballroom together. Blaise and Ms.Lovegood, will also be with you. You and your brother along with your partners will start the dance by dancing first. And, as your mother said, you look wonderful."
Alessia nodded, and stood side by side with Blaise.
"Should I call Luna," Alessia asked.
Blaise nodded.
Alessia called Luna's name and Luna joined them, linking her hands with Blaise. Just then, Draco and his parents apparated. Alessia almost jumped. The Malfoys other than Draco left. Draco stood next to Alessia and smirked.
"Seems like you fancy me Zabini."
Alessia rolled her eyes, "Keep dreaming, lover boy. I only chose you because Ronald is insufferable and Krum is annoying and stuck up. You are too of course, just a tad bit less."
Draco's face had a smile that Alessia had never seen before. Her eyes went to the side and she just barely made out Angela and Narcissa bickering. She heard a name, "Alessia" and another "Draco" and then she felt her cheeks turning red.

Two hours later
The ball had started. The Weasleys, except for Ron, and Harry were there. Alessia noticed Ginny and Luna smiling at the dessert bar. Luna had a drop of buttercream on her nose. Alessia walked over to them and wiped the buttercream off of Luna and hugged them both.
"Hello," Alessia said. Alessia noticed the same chocolate covered strawberries from the first dinner. She took 2 chocolate covered strawberries and put one in her mouth before turning to Luna.
"Blaise won't stop talking about Luna," Ginny stated.
Alessia laughed and Luna just blushed.
"Ahem, we're supposed to be dancing Alessia," another voice added.
Alessia turned around and faced none other than Malfoy himself.
"We did, you really are lonely aren't you. Why don't you have some strawberries or something?"
"Well I was instructed to dance by your mother and my mother."
Alessia groaned and told the girls she would catch up with them later. She walked to the dance floor with Draco and saw Pansy swaying around. Pansy turned her hair blue, then green and back to normal. Alessia made a mental note to tease Pansy about it later.
The song changed from fast beat to a slow mellow tune, like the one at the Yule ball. Draco took her hand and they started dancing. Alessia placed her arms around his necked and let the music do the rest. They both gently swayed to the song. A strange feeling overwhelmed Alessia and she placed her head on Draco's chest. Alessia took a deep breathe and caught a strong whiff of green apples and cedar. It was comforting as well as nostalgic. When the song ended all of Alessia's feeling floated away. She raised her head let go of Draco and promptly left. She dared to look back and saw a simple smile on Draco's face, but it did not reach his eyes. His eyes were far away and had the tiniest bit of disappointment.

An hour later
The Zabinis were on the large balcony and Mr.Zabini cleared his throat. He did an inverbal spell and touched his throat with his wand.
And then he started his speech, "Good evening ladies and gentlemen. Thank you for coming today. Me and my wife have invited everyone to celebrate the return of our daughter, Alessia Hermione Zabini. You might have known her as Hermione Granger before," there were a few gasps and Alessia stepped forward. Her father nodded at her and Alessia knew what to do.
"I am Alessia Zabini. You knew me as Hermione Granger as my father told everyone. When me and my brother Blaise were born Lord Voldemort was at his highest. My parents not knowing I was to be born resulted in Voldemort not knowing about me either. They knew about Blaise so when I was born they attempted to at least save me. My parents gave me to the Grangers and I was raised there for my entire childhood. Since the Dark Lord was killed my parents decided it was safe for me to return."
The silence was worse than the gasps. Luckily Alessia's mother spoke up.
"I know it is strange but please do not trouble anyone. I hope you all have a wonderful night and enjoyed yourself today."

The guests all shuffled towards the exit chattering quietly. Alessia quickly reached the exit conjuring beautiful glass sculptures. Each guest got unique animals. Alessia used a special spell so everyone got their patronus. Once everyone left Alessia wished special goodbyes to her friends and hugged Draco. Both Draco and Alessia turned bright red. That night Alessia went to bed with a wistful feeling. She wrapped her velvet blanket half wishing she was once again dancing with Draco.
