Today was October 5th, my birthday was getting closer. Today at school, I ran into Jack, he then shoved me onto the ground and laughed with all of his friends, it's not the first time this has happened, and it won't be the last. Other than that my day was mostly fine. At the moment it's about midnight and everyone is asleep, so I plan on going to the dance studio down the street.

In order for this to work, I make sure both Jill and Jack are asleep and then climb out my window. My room is up on the second floor, but there is an oak tree right on the edge of the roof, so I just grab ahold of the tree and climb down.

Once I make it to the dance studio, I hear music coming from the room I usually go dancing in, and I see a guy in there dancing. He's actually a really good dancer and is dancing to my favorite song to dance. He has his face covered, so I can't tell who he is, and in the next minute I'm glad I always have my face covered. He sees me in the doorway and goes to stop the music.

"Who are you?" I ask.

"I'm the one that is always here every time you dance," He says.

"Wait, so there has been someone watching me, I'm not just paranoid?" I say questioning myself.

"Well, yes I come here every night, just to watch you when you dance, so may I please know who you are?" He asks me.

"I won't tell you who I am, but you can call me Vi," I tell him.

"So Vi is a nickname then? And my name is Sean."

"Vi is a nickname, although I promise you won't be able to figure out who I am because of it."

"What makes you so sure of that?"

"The fact that it's not a part of my name, but why did you tell me your actual name?"

"Because I don't want to start our relationship with lies."

"What relationship?"

"I have a feeling you're my soulmate, even though I don't know who you are." He says so confidently.

"Why would you think I'm your soulmate? How old are you?" I question.

"I'm 17, and because I feel a pull to you I've never felt around anyone else, also how old are you?"

"But you don't even know who I am, also I turn 16 in a weeks' time," I tell him.

"No, but I do know you're a great singer and dancer and I want to get to know you more, also it means there is a chance that you will be my soulmate."

"Well, how do you propose to do that? Also, I seriously doubt that."

"Get over here and I'll show you."

I stand up and walk towards him, and he starts up the music again.

"Join me for a dance?" He asks me.

I go over to him, and we start dancing together, and we get lost in the dance and the song we don't realize we've been dancing for hours on end.

"Oh, I should get going, it's getting late, but quick question, have you gotten your mark yet?" I ask him.

"I agree, it is really late, and I do not, meaning that my soulmate is not yet of age, so I will wait for them until they're finally old enough."

"Well then, goodnight, I will see you sometime in the future," I say then run out of the dance studio and keep running until I'm safe inside my room.

I can't believe that just happened, and I don't dare to go back there until after my birthday, it's a good thing there is only another week to go.
