I woke up the next morning physically tired, it was a little after 7 and Kairi had to be up for school. I had a slight attitude cause we went to sleep a little after 5, I brushed my teeth and rinsed my face before throwing on this oversized shirt. I went to Kai's room and woke her up, she started whining but I quickly shut it down. "Kairi baby you have to go to school and learn so you you can be the smartest girl in the world. And you're a big girl now, big girls don't cry, only babies like Khari do." I said trying to reason with her as we walked to her bathroom. I ran her bath water and helped her get in the tub, I left the door open while I went downstairs to make her breakfast. I kept it simple with oatmeal and some fruit, once that was ready I went back upstairs to help her do what she needed to do. Once she was dressed we went downstairs so she could eat, while she sat at the table I went to check on Khari. I peeked my head in her room and I heard her making random noises. I went over to her crib and picked her up, "hey stinky." I said kissing the side of her face. She flashed a gummy smile, I changed her diaper and adjusted myself so I could feed her. I wasn't consistent with breastfeeding like I was with Kai but as long as I kept producing it I'd keep feeding her that way. I yawned and looked down at Khari , once she dozed off I burped her and laid her back down. I made my way back down the stairs to see if Kai was ready.

She had finished eating and we were getting her things ready so she could get to school on time. I brought Khari with me so Dave can get enough rest, plus I had a lot on my mind and when I say a lot I mean Antonio. We had became close when Dave was away and technically I was single so I wasn't cheating or anything. And I'm not sure why but all of last night while I had sex with Dave I thought about Antonio. Cause one thing about him is he was going to make sure he pleased his partner in the bedroom. I snapped out of my thoughts and strapped both kids in the backseat. The ride to Kai's school was literally 15 minutes away so once I made it one of the teachers helped her out. I told her that I loved her and to have a good day, I needed to go to the store so I decided to do that while I was out. I went to a grocery store close to the house, once I made it I grabbed my purse and picked up Khari out of her car seat. I locked the doors and carried her inside, she was on my hip while I pushed the cart. I heard someone call my name, I turned and it was Antonio. I smiled when I saw him, he embraced me in a side hug. He smiled at Khari, "hey pretty girl." he said touching her hand. She flashed a gummy smile, and tried to reach for him we both laughed.
"How did things go with the court thing?" he asked. "They let him post bail, he got out yesterday." I said. He nodded, "So, where does that put us?" he asked curiously. "Me and you will talk about it but no me and him aren't together nor are we trying to be." I said honestly. He nodded and planted a kiss on my neck, I shivered under his touch. It was something about this man that made me wanna be around him, I liked the affection he showed and how he understands my life and everything that comes with it. Just like I understand his lifestyle and all that comes with him being a successful artist. I continued shopping for the things I needed and Khari ended up falling asleep so I just decided to wrap it up and go home.
It took me like 20 minutes to load everything in the car and got my baby strapped in her seat, then it took another 35 minutes to get home. I called Dave and told him to help get the bags and he made his way outside in my slippers. I laughed as I carried the baby inside by this point she was waking up, so we went upstairs and I ran her some bath water. I decided that we was gonna take a bath together, so I undressed myself and then undressed her and we got in. I bathed her first and Dave got her dressed then I bathed myself and got out before the water got cold. I dried off and moisturized my body and threw on some leggings and a oversized t shirt, I got Khari from Dave and started feeding her. While I sat in the chair Dave came in and sat across from me, "we should talk.." he said. I nodded agreeing with him cause I was at the point that I was okay with us not being together. "How you feel? Do you want to get back together?" he asked. "I feel okay, and as far as us I'm okay with us just co parenting.. I feel like that's what's best for the girls as well as myself. My heart just isn't here anymore, I love you and the life we've created and built together but I think we should just be friends." I said honestly. He nodded understanding where I was coming from. "I understand and respect your decision Ry. I appreciate you for holding things down at home while I was away and I hope that you'll continue to support me with this situation." he said with a half smile. I nodded with a smile, I looked down at Khari while she nursed. I helped run his company while he was gone, just so his business wouldn't fail. I kept his house in tact as well so he would have something to come home to. He stood to his feet and left out the room, I yawned cause it was a little after 9am. I got Kai to school at 7 and she got out at 3, and I went grocery shopping and got Khari situated. So we was probably gonna take a nap after she finished eating, I carried her to my room and climbed into the bed. I was happy that I had these blackout curtains cause I sleep peacefully during the day. Once she finished I burped her and laid her beside me, she put her feet on me and started dozing off. It's like she found comfort and peace knowing I was close by, so every time she laid beside me she had to put her feet on me. I scrolled through Instagram and remembered that I never posted my pictures from yesterday. So I posted those and continued scrolling but of course the likes and comments came flooding.

I liked and responded to all the comments and closed the app. Once I looked over at Khari and saw that she was asleep I eased out of the bed and headed downstairs. "Ry, I'm about to head out gotta go check on business." he said. I nodded handing him his keys to everything. "Alright." I said as he walked out of the door, I locked it behind him.

Dave

I wasn't upset that Ry wasn't open to us getting back together, I agree that our relationship has ran its course. And now it was time for us to finally be happy without feeling obligated to be together for the kids. She was honest with me about ole dude from Chicago and I respected that, as long as he made her happy and didn't disrespect her nor our kids I was good. I took a shower while she dropped Kairi off and I was now on my way to the office. I was anxious to see how business was going and how it's been ran while I was away.

I was going up the elevator and was met by Monica at the receptionist desk, she looked to be about 8 months pregnant. "Hey Mo, how ya been?" I greeted her. She smiled and stood to her feet, she came around the desk and embraced me into a hug. "I'm glad you're home." she said with a smile. "Ryan has been holding things down here, she was actually here the other day with those beautiful girls." she said praising Ry. "Thank you, I see you're getting ready to bring your little one into the world." I said placing my hand on her swollen stomach. She nodded, "Yes, I'm so ready. This little boy has been kicking my ass." she chuckled going back to her seat. We wrapped up our little conversation and I headed to my office and of course everybody was excited to see me back. I was glad to be back, I just had to get my life back on track and remain positive until my next court date..
