Chris woken up in a familiar room, it reveals to be his old room where all nightmares tried to kill him. Chris begins to pant in fear as he looks around the room, recognising this traumatic room where he was stuck in for years. Chris eyes narrowed as he stares at the closet where his old foe that resemble his older brother would hide in, then, there was a knock Chris' left door. Chris' eyes widen after hearing that.

Chris didn't bother to open the door and pulls out a flashlight, flashing it at the closed door. Chris was terrified and wanted to wake up, but whatever the power is holding him here won't allow him to wake up, he begins to whimper before the door open, it reveals to be Nightmare. Chris felt a deep relief to see Nightmare here, Nightmare walks into the bedroom. "This is the nightmare you have; I can tell you had this often back in 1987, was it because of your brother?" Nightmare asked, walks over to Chris.

Chris went quiet before nodding with a scared look. Nightmare kneeled to Chris' height before speaking. "Tell me, where does the nightmares come from?" Nightmare asked, looking at both doors and the closer. Chris whimpered before turning around, looking at the bed, finding no freddles. "Everywhere...the two doors, the closet...and the bed." Chris answered, pointed at the bed. Nightmare hummed before standing up. "This is definitely dangerous for you to be here alone, so, let's make it easy for you." Nightmare spoken.

Chris tilt his head, wondering what Nightmare will do. Soon, there was a shifting sound and saw someone ran into the closet. Chris' eyes narrowed after seeing that, he panicked. "F-Foxy! H-He's in the closet!" Chris panicked. Nightmare hummed before he uses his tentacles to lock the doors and he sits down on the bed, to keep the freddles away.

"Now, Chris, from what I learn. These monsters want you dead, but you can control them, they don't want you to control them, and they do not want you to tame them. It's because YOU created them with your fears and depression, the best way to tame them is to show you are not afraid and you stare at them in the eyes, show them you are the bigger monster and you can simply erase them, but don't, because you will need them for your own advantage." Nightmare explained as Chris nodded as he drops a sweat while flashing his flashlight at the closet.

Nightmare watches carefully with his watchful blue eye, soon Chris asked a question. "What if it pounds at me?" Chris asked, whimpering. "Then it will die because of me." Nightmare answered, calmly. Chris takes a deep breath before the two tentacles was ready to open the closet. "Wait! Wait! Wait!" Chris panicked. Nightmare sighs before standing up and let his other tentacles lay on the bed. Nightmare pulled Chris into a comforted hug.

Chris hugged back, still afraid of Nightmare Foxy. "I understand how scary it is, son. I really do...but I won't let you face it alone, how about we face him together? You won't have to be so alone then." Nightmare replied, brushes Chris' hair. "O-Okay...are you scared?" Chris asked, looks at Nightmare. Nightmare was silent for a long moment before responding. "I do. I'm afraid of losing you."

Chris blinks in surprise before nodding, he looks at the closet as Nightmare hold Chris' hand. Chris takes a deep breath as the closet was about to open, then it stops. "We can do it another time if you like." Nightmare responded, wanted to test Chris' bravery. Chris does not have a brave soul, but he is determined, he responded. "N-No, let's do it..." Chris mumbled.

Nightmare nodded in understanding, then the closet opens, revealing how dark it is. Chris gulp as he waits for the pounds. Nightmare was prepared, waiting for it. Chris was about to shine the closet with his flashlight, then Nightmare took it down. "Not a good plan. You needed to look at it in the eyes." Nightmare spoken. Chris nodded with a determined look before putting his flashlight away.

Then, they heard robotic stepping sounds, heavy ones. Chris takes a deep breath as he looks for the eyes, then he saw Foxy's eyes, dark and yellow, yet so clear. Chris' fear struck in, but he immediately had enough of himself before he given Foxy his look, no fear, only glare. Foxy doesn't seem to like it as he growled, staying in the dark.
