A few days later, Dom, Damon, Mia, Letty, Jesse, and Leon are at the garage.
"What about parts and service?" Mia asks Dom as she looks at some paperwork.
"Hold off on it," Dom tells her with a shrug.
"Dom, I don't know what to do with it," Mia says as a tow truck backs up in front of the garage with a totaled car on it.
"I'll handle it later," Trixie says causing Mia to nod.
"What the hell is this?" Damon asks as he, Dom, and Jesse walk over to the doors.
"What do you got there?" Dom asks as Brian walks over to them.
"This is your car," Brian answers him with a smirk.
"My car?" Dom asks as Jesse hits the car and Damon runs his finger across it before looking at all the dirt on his finger. "I said a 10-second car, not a 10-minute car."
"You could push this across the finish line, or tow it," Jesse says causing Letty to laugh.
"You couldn't even tow that across the finish line," Damon adds causing Mia to giggle which causes Trixie to nudge her with a small glare.
"No faith," Brian defends himself.
"I have faith in you, but this isn't a junkyard. This is a garage," Dom tells him as he motions to the garage.
"Pop the hood," Brian tells Jesse as he looks at him.
"Pop the hood?" Dom asks him confused.
"Pop the hood," Brian answers with a nod. They get the car off of the tow truck and into the garage.
"2JZ engine. No shit," Damon says as they take the hood off.
"And what did I tell you?" Brian says with a smirk.
"We retract our previous statements," Dom says as Damon nods in agreement.
"You know what? This will decimate all after you put about $15,000 in it," Damon says as Jesse nods in agreement.
"Or more, if we have to overnight parts from Japan," Jesse adds as he looks at Dom.
"We'll put it on my tab at Harry's," Dom says as he turns to Brian.
"Yes!" Jesse says as he and Damon high five.
"I gotta get you racing again so I can make some money off your ass," Dom says as he looks at Brian. "There's a show down in the desert called Race Wars. That's where you'll do it. When you're not working at Harry's, you're working here. If you can't find the right tool in this garage, Mr. Arizona, you don't belong near a car."
"He owns you now," Trixie tells Brian causing Damon and Mia to share a smile as they remember Mia telling Damon the same thing.

The next day after taking the car apart they went to Harry's to get the parts they need.

Damon, Brian, Dom, Jesse, and Leon take a break from laying out the new parts for the car to eat. Dom and Brian sit on the hood while Jesse and Damon sit on the trunk with Leon sitting on the ground.
"I was like five years old while I'm sitting on my father's lap. He's got me propped up and both my hands are on the steering wheel," Dom explains as he mimics a steering wheel. "And he kept going faster and faster. I remember hearing him laughing. The faster we went, the happier he was."
"How old were you again?" Jesse asks him.
"Five," Dom answers him.
"My mom taught me how to drive," Leon says as he looks up at them.
"Your mom?" Dom asks him impressed.
"Yeah, man. It was right before she left though," Leon explains as he looks down. "You know, hate her for that but can't hate her completely. You know?"
"First time I drove," Brian says as he sets his sandwich to the side. "Was my learners permit. We were on the 40 freeway, my mother, brother, and I. The car in front of me locks up it's brakes." Brian makes the sound affects of brakes locking up as Damon remembers that day. "Then boom, someone blew into me from behind. Five car pile up. First time I drove."
"First time I drove," Damon says with a smile while shaking his head. "Was the same day that I competed in my first race."
"Really?" Dom asks him, causing Damon to nod.
"Before my dad went away," Jesse says as he adds his story. "He bought me this '71 Malibu classic. First day I got my license. It was the greatest day. It's also the first day that I had sex." Jesse raises his beer while they all laugh. "I shit you not."
"Something about learning how to drive. You're either a driver or you're not a driver. So, up until the point you start driving is one lifetime and then after you start driving is another lifetime," Dom explains with a smile as the guys nod in agreement.

That night, Brian follows Damon home knowing he owes his brother the truth.
"What do you want Brian?" Damon asks as they get out of their cars.
"To talk," Brian answers him before Damon nods with a sigh, leading Brian into his house. Damon hands Brian a beer as they sit at the kitchen table.
"What are you doing in LA?" Damon asks as Brian takes a drink of his beer.
"I could ask you the same thing," Brian says with a smirk causing Damon to roll his eyes.
"After mom passed, I didn't know where else to go after you had already left without so much as a goodbye," Damon says with a shrug as he looks at his beer bottle before taking a drink.
"I left because I got into the police academy like we had always talked about," Brian explains to him. "After I finished I went back to find you but you were gone."
"Are you a cop right now?" Damon asks, knowing that Dom hates cops with a passion. Brian lets out a sigh of defeat before nodding his head. "Are you undercover?" Brian nods once again causing Damon to glare at him.
"Yeah, that's why my driver's license says Spilner," Brian says as he looks down, not being able to handle his brother's glare.
"Dom isn't a bad guy like most cops make him out to be, so I hope you're not going after him," Damon explains before taking a drink of his beer. "You better know what you're getting yourself into, Brian. Because, I swear, if you destroy that family then you will loose the right to call me your brother."
