Day 1 - Siren: Rewrite of Marry {Siren Mic}

You sat on the deck of the boat alone all the other riders and crew men long ago left for their sleeping quarters leaving you with just the clear night sky, and your thoughts. Suddenly a hand was clasped on your shoulder causing you to jump a bit, you quickly looked up then sighed in relief, just the captain Shota Aizawa "You need something cap?" He pulled up a box and sat next to you "Whats with the pout? You used to love sailing these seas." You have a laugh, sad and self loathing, but also of remembrance as you looked out to the dark calm sea.

When you were younger your dad would take you on business trip with him so you got to ride the boats a lot. Your favorite part was when he would tell you stories he heard from the crew or krakens, the bumita triangle, and so much more before tucking you in bed. 

Those days are long over now though.  He had to go out for one of his business trips but you were so sick he couldn't bring you. The ship he was on never returned to the dock, hes no longer considered missing but dead now. 

Your mother had to remarry to survive, you guys need money and its not like she can really work. Your new step dad never took you on his business trips and refused to allow you to ride alone just for fun do you haven't set sail in some time. 

To bad he was all to happy to buy you a riding pass when he found out how much his colleague was willing to pay him for his son to have your hand.

You didn't take your eyes off the sea "Im getting married." Aizawa's scanned your face "Why is that a bad thing?" You chuckled, again the sadness shined threw, "let me rephrase that, my step father sold me to his colleague's son." Aizawa grimaced, he never did like your step dad.

Aizawa was your father's, Oboro Shirikumo, best friend. And like a second father to you. He was the one to normally bring you and your dad to the business meeting, even letting you stay on the ship and play captain while your dad was working, but his ship had caught rocks a few days before so your dad had to sail on a different boat that wretched day.  

You know he blames himself in a way, he came around a lot after offering your mother help but she refused any handouts. When she remarried he came by a bit less offering to take you out on the ship, he'd even do it free of charge but then your step dad would always refuse and eventually Aizawa stopped coming over all together.

He wrapped his arm around you in a way that was supposed to offer comfort "Sorry lil catfish, we should get down in the sleeping quarters thought-" You cut him off before he could even start, a cocky grin spreading across your face because even after all these years you still remember it word by word "Sirens come out around this time and ya dont wanna be falling for a fish now do ya?" He laughed slapping his knee as he stood "Guess I told you that one a few to many times huh, come on fair maiden lets drink till we forget out sorrows!" 

You frowned "Im not old enough to dri-" He put his finger to his mouth with a smile "Come on, your parents sold you and your husbnad hasn't put a ring on that finger yet, so that makes you a free women at the moment. Make your own decision before its too late." You couldn't help but laugh, a real laugh, you have to guess hes right. Your parents have made every decision for you and your husband will make everyone in the future so this is the only choice you'll get to make on your own "Fuck it, lets drink!" He laughed as he pulling you to his side in celebration. Did you say second father? Maybe more of a fun uncle really.
