Turns out leaving Boston in the middle of the night to start a twelve-hour drive was definitely not the smartest decision we had. Although I don't think spending another minute inside that apartment was even an option, especially knowing that man or someone else could return to harm us.

So here we are, nearly five hours into the drive as we are passing by Scranton with way too many hours still ahead of us. The sun was already up in the sky, blinding my vision. My sunglasses were not doing a great job covering my tired eyes, which made it even more difficult to keep them open. Harry was also visibly tired, but not once he dared to stop the car, or complain about how exhausted he was. My legs were getting numb from the confined space this smelly car had to offer.

I had so many questions for Harry, but no energy to ask them, knowing I would probably get no answer from him. Back at the apartment he Boston, he showed he cared about me, but I'm no fool to believe he changed overnight. The shitty treatment I am receiving is nowhere near the end, that I'm sure of. Especially now that we have a clue about Collin, he will be more focused on his purpose than ever, forgetting I exist along the way.

Not that I am paying much attention to Harry and his lack of words, instead I'm focused on something else.

I am a bit paranoid, constantly looking back to see if the car behind us was still the same. If the same car followed us for more than three different exits, I would begin to accept the possibility that it might be following us. So far, the same car never stayed behind us for more than thirty minutes, but for all I know that man could be somewhere following our steps.

"Why do you keep looking back? You're doing it every five minutes. What are you looking for?" Harry asks, his voice so deep as if he had just woken up.

I could see his bruised knuckles which tell me just how he managed to get the information from the man who knew about Collin's whereabouts. He didn't tell me how he got that information but it is very easy to guess. That is all Harry knows, this is how he solves every problem he is ever faced with.

He fights people, he punches them, it is his ideal way of solving problems because that is what he has been exposed from an early age. He was taught fighting people is alright, it is actually encouraged. It means you are strong, you are the best.

So it will be difficult for him to ever change, at least while he still lives in this environment. But considering our chances of ever having a normal life are pretty much inexistent now, I'm afraid he will be like this for the rest of his life. That is why he decided to beat the shit out of Noah many times in the past, it is his way of solving problems, even if it will only bring bigger problems. But he doesn't have the capacity to think differently, to find other ways of solving problems.

"It's nothing." I simply say, feeling my throat so dry. We didn't even bring a bottle of water with us, and the morning sun hitting my face for a while now is increasing the temperature in this car.

"Do you think he is following us?" He asks, probably already knew why I was constantly looking back from the first time I did it.

"He might be." I shrug not wanting to tell him how scared I actually am about what happened, he would not understand.

"He is not." Harry sighs.

"How do you know that?"

"Because I'm looking through the mirror, I would have noticed if the same car was behind us for the past five hours." He didn't seem worried about the man who showed up at the apartment anymore. Obviously, finding Collin is the reason why we are here, but I think knowing we are being followed, when we thought we were undercover, is something to worry about.
