❏ ☁️ ◂╯• 001. BACK TO DAEGU !!
❛ 𝘪 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘢 𝘨𝘰 𝘩𝘰𝘮𝘦 ❜It was the first time Eunseong and Yoongi had managed to go home together in a long time. Of course, by now, this was only their childhood home, their true home in the dorms amongst the other boys, but coming back to Daegu always held such a significance to them, and the fact that there were able to come back for more than a day trip was special.
Especially considering they weren't alone.
The group had been on break for a little while now, suddenly given the freedom to do whatever they pleased. Of course, they were in constant contact and sometimes were at the dorms together as opposed to their own private homes (which usually had one of them there anyway), as well as meeting up for meals and other things they usually didn't have time for, but also trying out new things.
For Jungkook, this meant he wanted to finally do something he was yet to check off his metaphorical, not completely existent bucket list: get a tattoo.
There were so many parlours he could've gone to in Seoul, but why would he want to get a tattoo from anyone but Eunseong; they had always talked about her past and the large family she had in Daegu that ran a tattoo parlour, one which she had worked at and was the youngest tattoo artist in Korea in, and it just seemed stupid that he would go to anywhere else when he had someone he was more than comfortable with right there in front of him.
So, just the night before Yoongi and Eunseong had planned on going back home together, Eunseong has received a call from the youngest member and heard all about his wishes. And then in the morning, her and Yoongi picked him up, and embarked on their journey.
It had been a fun drive, stopping to get fuel and snacks in the middle of it, having a moment to go over their plans for the rest of the break and what they had already done with it, but as it approached lunch, they had arrived in Daegu, and met up with Yoongi and Eunseong's families and gone out for a meal.
In all honesty, it was strange for the two of them to see a couple of the places they used to frequent, like restaurants and cafes, display proudly that they had been customers there, but none was as strange as to when they walked in the tattoo parlour (having said goodbye to the parents so that they could have some time to themselves there before that night) and finding almost a shrine of the girl.
She had grown up with only one set of official parents, but also all of their friends looking after her as well, and seeing as they were all so proud of her, they had donated things to it: items of merch, the first lyrics she wrote, the first tattoo she did. It was all rather overwhelming, even if kept in a small corner so not as to disturb the majority of staff, which were younger people these days.
"I think they're cool." Jungkook lingered by the decorations, eyes on a picture of young Eunseong leant over an arm, tattoo pen in hands. "Your whole family. They're all very..."
"Unique." Eunseong finished the sentence for him as she popped her head out of the private room she had decided to use - they had closed up the parlour for the day so that it could go by without a hitch, but there was no way she was gonna put him out in one of the open booths at the front of the shop, when anyone could look in. "Yuhime and Choa want me to take them out next time they come up to Seoul... I agreed, of course."
"Despite how controversial it might be?" Yoongi asked, as Jungkook followed them into the room and she began to set everything up.
"Although I'm not as bad as some... I'm already considered controversial. I have tattoos, I draw tattoos, I come from an unconventional family who were definitely not model youth, I'm the only girl in the group... so I don't think I'll be ruined for being seen with my lesbian mothers." Arisol paused for a moment. "Although that might be a little far in the eyes of some."
"You'll be fine, nobody will expect it." Jungkook reassured her. "What about when they find out you did my tattoo?"
"You know how it'll be. Some fans will love it.. some won't." Eunseong replied. "Also this might take a while, just saying." She was staring down at the set of drawings she had taken from Jungkook this morning - he had drawn every single tattoo he wanted done that day. "You'll have to tell me where to put them all so I can start sketching them. Any particular you want to start with?"
"The tiger flower." Jungkook pointed it out. "Then the hand ones... then the rest I haven't thought about."
"And it'll be a several day process." Eunseong added, as she continued to prepare the station. "We might be in here every day, and although it's closed today, it won't be every day. I'll make sure we have the private room though, and my parents said they were more than happy to ask clients to sign contracts if they see us - which I don't think is necessary, but hey, we'll see."
"I know it'll take a while." Jungkook confirmed. "But I've been waiting to have it done for ages, and I trust you to do it."
"In that case, let's get started." Eunseong was back in her element, and she wasn't going to shy away from it now.
