"Happy Birthday, little man!!" Mitsuki giggled, walking into her son's apartment.

Bakugou smiled. Exactly one year ago, his son was born. And he lost his omega. He didn't knwo whether to be sad, or happy. So he just stayed quiet. His parents surrounded the 1-year-old, holding him up to their chests. Kazuo was a quick learner. By the time he was 2 months old, he was already making sounds... Which is very early for a baby to start doing so. Now, he was 1 year old. And he was already starting to say a few clear words. Usually, babies only start talking around 15 months old. But for Kazuo, it was different. He was already starting to walk, which members of his family adored to watch him do.

"Gama!" The baby cooed, reaching for his grandmother.

Masaru handed the baby boy to Mitsuki, who gladly took him. "Hey kiddo! Grandma got you a gift! It ain't much, but I hope you like it!" The blonde woman cheered, setting the boy down. Kazuo struggled to stand up, leaning on the wall as he did so. He watched his grandparents take out a small box, which was colorful.

Mitsuki handed the gift to the baby, who slowly carried it somewhere else. Of course, he tripped a few times while walking, but he eventually made it next to the counter, where he sat down. The child quickly started to fiddle with the present, not knowing what to do with it.

Katsuki bent down next to his son, where he took the gift and ripped a part of the paper open, before handing it to him again. Almost immediately, Kazuo started to rip it more, giggling at the funny sounds it was doing. The small boy eventually opened the present completely, showing off an All Might toy.

"I thought... Y'know, since Izuku was such a fan of him, maybe Kazuo would be too?" Mitsuki said, looking up to her son. Katsuki smiled at his mother, before bending back down to his baby. "Lookie, Kazuo! It's All Might!" He cooed, waving the toy in the air. His son gurgled, happy about his new toy.

Katsuki quickly gave the toy back to his son, who immediately started playing with it. He shook it, laughed at it, threw it against the ground, then drooled on it a little.

"It's hard to believe I've been a grandma for a year now. He grows up to fast." Mitsuki said, earning a nod from her husband. Katsuki smiled softly at his parents, before looking down at Kazuo again. He seemed to be enjoying his new figurine.

"How're you holding up, kiddo?"

Bakugou looked up to his father, who was now seated on the couch. He looked down, a little hesitant to respond. "I'm fine." He shrugged before going to sit with his parent.

"It's okay to be sad once in a while, you know? You've been holding up pretty well, just to try to make little Kazuo proud and happy. But you don't have to. It's okay to let go sometimes, son." Masaru spoke. Bakugou looked down at these words, trying to swallow the sudden lump in his throat. He couldn't cry. Not in front of Kazuo. He's trying his best to make his son proud, and to be there all the time. But it's nearly impossible.

Katsuki's often gone to work, as a pro hero, and his mom is the one to babysit him while he's gone. He's still cutting it short with money, barely able to pay his bills on time. Gosh, he hasn't been eating as much as he wants lately, trying to save money. He hasn't been using as much electricity, just to save money. Yet, nothing seems to be working.

The poor blonde hasn't even had the time to masturbate in months.

Not that it matters, though. He barely even gets in the mood to do these types of things anymore. Ever since Izuku died, the only thing keeping his life interesting is his son. Kazuo's been full of surprises since the day he came into this world. Exactly one year ago. Damn, time flies by fast.

"Ooh! Look at you!"

Both Masaru and Katsuki looked over to the blonde woman, who was cheering her grandson on. He was standing up, and walking around... Without tripping! "Baba-" The baby cooed, making his way towards the blonde male. Katsuki smiled and picked up his son from the floor. Kazuo smiled, giggling hysterically.

The boy was adorable. Growing up too fast too.

Even though it was his son's birthday, all Katsuki could think about his money. He was running low. He spent a lot recently, for Kazuo's birthday, but it wasn't a good thing. He was about to lose his apartment. It's shameful, for a pro hero to be in debt like this. It's not heroic at all.

Was he going to lose his reputation?

His job?

Maybe social services were going to take away his son?

What's happening next?

Jesus, Izu. Help me.
