My visit to Fangtasia was completely useless in my search for the Bon Temps killer. All I got out of last night were predatory looks, and lots of anxiety. Not to mention the nausea from traveling at vamp speed.  I just hope that I'm not on the stranglers hit list now, because I went to a vampire bar. No doubt the whole town knows by now.

I didn't go to sleep after Bill dropped me off at my apartment last night, because I was afraid that I would see someone else die in my dreams or myself.  Because if I'm going to be murdered, I'd rather not know about it.  I literally can't wait for Oberon to come back from his cruise, I need to fix this now.

Huh, speak of the devil.

3:45 pm
[Oberon]: shit! I can hear your pestering thoughts all the way down in the Caribbean.

3:46 pm
[Oberon]: I sent you a sleeping draught in the mail. It should arrive to your place in a few days. Sending love from St.Croix 😘🏝☀️😎

3:50 pm
[Roslyn]: Thx old man ✌🏻

3:52 pm
[Oberon]: Oh you bitch, I'm not event that old!

3:55 pm
[Roslyn]: aren't you like 5,000 years old? 🤨

3:59 pm
[Oberon]: I'm not going to answer that.

I walked into the church for the first time in like 5 years, for the latest Descendants of the Glorious Dead meeting.  Bill is the special guest speaker tonight; because he was alive during the civil war.   Half of the town seemed to have shown up, to see him and almost all of the pews were filled up.

I looked slightly ahead in the line that I was standing in, and noticed that Sam Merlotte had Sookie on his arm.  Bill and Sookies fight must have been bigger than I thought. I don't think Sookie knows how territorial vampires can be... hopefully it doesn't get bloody, for Sams sake.

After a a minute or two, and after giving a few pleasantries to the rude locals, I was finally getting a pamphlet from Gran.

"Oh Roslyn! Don't you look lovely!" Gran said in adoration. I was wearing a blue dress with a white flower pattern spread out across the fabric. My dress had a leg slip on the left side that reached up to my upper thigh. I was also wearing white tie on heels.
"Thanks Gran!" I beamed back. I was trying not let on to how tired I actually was, she seemed to buy it.

I glanced over to the stage while I was greeting Gran, and noticed Hoyt Fortenberry trying to rip a cross out from its stand on the stage. He was clearly trying with all his might, but it just wouldn't budge. I could see his veins bulging out of his head all the way over from where I was standing.

"It seems like a really good turn out." I commented.
"Yes, there has never been this many people at one of our meetings before!" she proudly stated.
The mayor joined our conversation.

"Where is the vampire?" The mayor asked Gran.
"He's waiting in the kitchen, I gave him a bottle of that Trueblood that they like" Gran smiled.
"Are you sure it's safe?" He inquired.
"What do you mean?" Gran asked.
"The vampire" he whispered.
"Oh well, Bill Compton is a gentleman. Franklyn I am more worried about what we'll do to him." She said confidently.

"Usually I wouldn't pay no mind, but there are young folks here" the mayor quickly added.
"I'm sure everything will be fine" I said.
"Rose is right, why don't you take a seat mayor before they're all gone. You to missy." Gran said pointing a finger at me.
"Nice to see you Mr. Mayor" I finished.
