I didn't have time to console Sookie during the day, so I headed to her house at nightfall.
I walked into the old farmhouse, and was reminded of all of the death that had taken place these last few weeks.  This house had always brought me so much joy, but now I only want to run from it.  Sookies better than me, shes only reminded of all of the good memories that happened in this house. Or at least that's what she claims. I entered the dining room and called out for her.

"Sookie! Are you here?"

No reply. I noticed some lit candles on the windowsill, probably in memoriam of Bill.
The sheer curtains were a little too close so I pushed them to the side. It was a fire hazard waiting to happen. Speaking of hazards, Sookie's cat, Tina, rounded the corner and started to playfully attack my leg. I gave her a few scratches before searching the house. I came up empty handed, Sookie was still no where to be found.     I started to worry.

I exited the house and beelined for the cemetery. Hopefully she's just having a breakdown at Bills house, or at his human grave.

A few paces into the old graveyard I heard...moaning? I continued cautiously and found the source of the noise. I saw a naked (not so dead) dirt covered Bill plowing into Sookie.

I stopped abruptly "Oh" I said surprised.

"Roslyn!" Sookie yelled grasping at her dress.

"You said he was dead!" I exclaimed, pointing at Bill.

"Technically I still am" He joked.

"Roslyn!" Sookie yelled.

"What?!" I questioned.

"GO AWAY!" She demanded.

I quickly went to leave, not wanting to see anything else. Sookie shouted at me again and threw a rock in my direction as I sped away.

"Get a room!" I yelled at Sookie in retaliation.

I guess Bill isn't dead.

The next day I avoided them both to the best of my ability, I didn't want to interact with either of them after that awkward encounter.  I am proud to say that I was successful.

I was browsing the shelves of food at the local groceries store when Arlene forcefully shoved her hand in my face.

"Do you notice anything different?!" She asked excitedly.

I looked at her hand and saw an engagement ring.

"Wow... Congratulations" I said slowly; after my encounter with Renee at the library I had become rather wary of him. Of course I have no evidence that he murdered anyone, but something just felt off about him.

"Well don't sound so cheerful" Arlene said sarcastically, offended by my lack of excitement.

"Im so happy for you! I'm sure the fourth times the charm" I said as convincingly as I could.

"Yeah, I know I've done it a lot before... But this time just feels right!" she commented.

Arlene grasped my hands and pulled them to her chest.
