Siblings were something so sacred. Even if not by blood, they are a treasure indescribable to those who don't have them. They are the people you can hate one minute and love the next.
Yoongi had his torn from him. Not only torn from him but had his whole life and peace of mind stolen in just a few hours. Stupid drink. Stupid party. Stupid feelings. All he could do now is try to figure out what happened for Jimin's sake.
-
Yoongi became a lifeless body before Jimin's eyes. A walking corpse that would wake up everyday, get dressed, and head out in search for answers of this tragedy. The younger and him only shared around 5 words a day.
They had no idea what to say to each other. This wasn't the ideal situation in which Yoongi wanted them to be brought together. Maybe a school project would have been a better way. Instead, his brother's corpse brought the two together in a whole new way. The younger did his own digging unbeknownst to the older. He would lock himself in the guest room and make calls day and night. Trying to find the answers to what happened that night. He called people he personally knew who were at the party.
"Hello?" Jimin said.
"Hey Minnie." The sweet voice said, "Hope you're doing well"
"Thanks Zuma" Jimin smiled softly. Zuma was a close friend to Jimin. They had known each other since high school and had hit it off ever since. Zuma was sort of a private investigator. Not professionally, but he was very well connected, "I was calling because I need your help to find a Jung Hoseok and Jeon Jungkook"
"Yeah, anything for you Min. You know you can count on me for anything. I'll let you know what I find out."
Jimin hung up after a cordial goodbye. He felt like this was going to get the boys the answers they so needed.

Jimin had continued his investigation to try and find the elusive Jeon Jungkook on social media or just any trace he could find. Although, he was stopped by the door opening. Yoongi had returned although he seemed intoxicated.
The older threw himself on the bed and laughed while looking at the ceiling, "You know what's funny?" He chuckled to himself, "my brother was my only friend in life and now he's gone but not by choice"
The younger was concerned and placed his things on the nightstand. He looked at the older with sadness in his eyes, "I'm here Yoongi. You're not alone"
Yoongi laughed even harder, "If only you realized," he sat up and faced the younger, "how madly in love with you I am even through all of this" the older smacked his forehead, "Do you know how stupid I am?"
Jimin grabbed the older's hand after witnessing him smack himself. His face was flushed but he didn't say anything.
"I should have protected him that night, but this feeling I have for you was stronger than anything I wanted to that night" His laughter became a sob, "why didn't I save him?"
The younger's tears began to escape his eyes as well. He hugged the older and kissed the top of his head softly, "It's not your fault."
The older looked at the younger. Their faces were centimeters away from each other. The older leaned in and kissed the younger. The younger kissed back. Yoongi held the younger's back and laid him down softly on the bed while getting on top of him as the kiss got deeper and deeper. The taste of salty tears and the younger's raspberry chapstick mixed in between the two. The smell of hard liquor on Yoongi's breath became stronger. Intense was an understatement for whatever was happening between them. Yoongi began to softly place kissed on Jimin's neck.
"I told you they were a thing" Yoongi and Jimin shot up from the bed to find Jin and Namjoon at the door. "Dinner is ready, but seems like you guys are skipping it for dessert." He laughed.
The boys turned rosy red. They took a deep breath, looking at each other and laughing. Yoongi took the younger's hand, "Thank you for sticking with me this whole time"
Jimin kissed his cheek and whispered, "by the way I am in love with you too"
They freshened up and were about to head to the dining room till the phone rang.
"Zuma?"
