"Ferris, are you sure about this? I mean, what if someone catches us?", Heather asked her friend over the phone. That morning, she was getting ready for school when Ferris called and convinced her to skip school with him. He had already told her that he was faking sick."They're not, trust me", Ferris replied. "We're already planning on getting Sloane to tag along and convincing the principal in to thinking that her grandmother died". Heather and Sloane had known each other since they were in elementary school, which introduced her to Ferris and Cameron.
"Wow"
"So, are you in?"
After a moment, she finally agreed. "I'm in", she smirked. Then, they decided to convince the principal that her aunt got hit by a car. Then, after the call, Heather turned around to notice her twelve-year-old brother standing at the doorway. "What?", she asked.
"Nothing. Just thinking about how much deep shit you're going to be in when Mom and Dad find out that you're ditching", he smirked. Heather knew that her parents probably wouldn't care much, considering that they cared more about flaunting their money than their kids. Her dad was a real estate agent and her mom was a surgeon. To Heather, it was annoying to hear them brag about their jobs and judge working class people, but she got use to it. She rushed over to her brother and grabbed his shoulders.
"Listen, you can't tell anyone tell about this", Heather told him. "If you say anything, I'm going to tell Dad that you took one of his Sports Illustrated swimsuit magazines"
"Deal", he said.

The first half of the day started off normal for Heather with other students casually saying hi to her in the hallway and in her classes. Heather was sitting in English class when an administrator walked in to the classroom. "Can I have Heather Lancaster for a moment please?", they asked. Once she heard that, Heather knew what it could've been. Her and the administrator stood in the hallway and she gave her a sympathetic look.
"I'm sorry to have to tell you this, but we got a call from your dad. He said that your aunt got ran over by a truck", she said solemnly. Ferris had already told her that he was going to have Cameron disguise his voice as her dad's when making the phone call to Principal Rooney. Even though she was glad that their plan was going smoothly, she still pretended to be devastated. "O-Oh my god", Heather stammered.
"I'm sorry, dear", the administrator said.
After grabbing her stuff, she was escorted to the principal's office where sat next to Sloane. She was glad that she didn't have volleyball practice that day. Then, Principal Rooney escorted the two girls outside where a bright red convertible sat in front of the school. Ferris was wearing a trench coat, sunglasses, and a hat. "Is one of your parents coming to pick you up?", Rooney asked.
"My parents are at the hospital with my aunt , so they asked Sloane's dad to drop me off", Heather explained.
"Alright", he looked suspiciously. Heather stepped in to the backseat while Sloane walked towards Ferris. "Do you have a kiss for Daddy?", he asked playfully. "Are you kidding?", she asked before kissing him. Heather grinned at the puzzled look on Rooney's face. She stepped in the car. "Hi, Cameron. Are you comfortable?", Sloane looked down at Cameron, who was hiding in the passenger seat. "Hi, Sloane. Hi, Heather. No", he replied. Heather always got along well with Cameron, especially since they both had wealthy parents. Despite that, they've never talked to each other outside of the group. When Ferris finally pulled off, Cameron finally emerged from hiding and looked at the road behind them.
