A rewrite of my very first book on this app. Jennifer Gilbert is the twin sister of Elena Gilbert, although she is always stuck in her sister's shadow.

CHAPTER ONE: rose

JENNIFER GILBERT GROANED AS SHE WOKE UP, CONFUSED TO NOT FEEL HER BED UNDERNEATH HER, BUT A COUCH. She tried to recall if she had fallen asleep on the couch of the living room before she shot up, eyes wide as she examined the room. "Fuck," she cursed, then looking to her side, she saw Elena. Fear and worry filled her body. "We've been kidnapped...again." Jennifer sighed in annoyance. "It's getting quite annoying."
"Is that really your concern? It's getting annoying?" Elena questioned her twin sister. "Not, oh, I don't want to know, why would they kidnapped us?"
"We are Katherine's doppelgängers. And we do get kidnapped a lot."
Elena tilted her head, agreeing with her sister. Then a woman with a pixie haircut and a man with long, dirty blond hair walked in. "What do you want with us?" Elena asked
"Oh my god, you look just like her." the woman says, shocked.
"But I'm not. There's two of us! Please, whatever you..."
"Be quiet!" the vampire quickly said.
"But I'm not Katherine. My name is Elena Gilbert; you don't have to do this. This is my twin sister, Jennifer."
"I know who you are, I said be quiet."
"What do you want?"
"Shh," Jennifer hushed her, elbowing her in the ribs gently. But, before Jennifer could keep telling her sister to calm down, Rose lifted her hand out, slapping Elena across the face and making her fly back and land on the couch, the couch moved back a bit.
Jennifer ran to her sister, gently touching the cheek that had been slapped. Oddly enough, it didn't feel broken.
"I want you to be quite," Rose tells the unconscious Elena. |!¤*'~''~'*¤!| ᴇʟᴇɴᴀ's ᴛᴡɪɴ sɪsᴛᴇʀ |!¤*'~''~'*¤!|
Jennifer placed Elena's head in her lap, trying to distract herself by playing with her hair; she had braided part is Elena's hair, knowing that her twin sister would only react by calling her insane for being so calm and braiding her hair she was unconscious.
Jennifer kept acting like she wasn't listening to their conversation, kept Elena placed down, even when she had awakened, so the two vampires wouldn't notice that she was awake.
"How does it go?" Rose asked.
"Still passed out. One of them. The other is watching over her."
