Lilian sat beside Paige, as the girls went through some newspapers and magazines. Lilian wasn't giving much focus on the task of finding some new apartments or houses in New York City for Carly who sat in front of the two, she was more focused on her chips and smoothie.

Glancing at the newspaper on Paige's hold, she was reading the news on the local and the national market. She simply hums in acknowledgment of what was returned before going back to her food.

Lilian is like the odd one out in the group, or what everyone outside would call her. You see, Paige earns the title of the 'hot one,' while Carly is the 'cool one.' Automatically, someone like Lilian whose personality contains, an innocent and sensitive being, of course, would be named odd.

Lilian is a rather reserved girl nothing compared to the two girls.

However, shockingly. Paige and Lilian are best friends, as they share their life, seeing as they were neighbors and classmates since birth. Carly was even jealous at one point about this. And it took a lot of effort for Lilian to try and get her to be on good terms with her.

"Mm, there's a place in Tribeca for $3,000," Paige was reading the newspaper and looking at the ads. She took a fry, dipping it in some ketchup before chewing on it. Lilian glance around the diner, it was night by now with no sign of any sun outside. The group has taken a pit stop on the way to a college football game that Paige's boyfriend, Blake, had been bugging everyone about coming.

Carly looks up at Paige, her eyes wide as she shakes her head, "That's too expensive. The money I saved up won't cover two months' rent. I'm gonna have to work every second I'm not in class until graduation." Paige and Lilian stare at each other then Carly, who noticed the two girls' close looks.

"Carly, don't even think about not going?" Paige had a stern look on while Lilian merely nodded along agreeing with her friend, "She's right, it's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity," Lilia spoke, her voice soft and gentle.

"I'm not," / "Good. Because you know how proud I am of you." Paige giggled, her eyes twinkling with glee. Lilian watch as Carly spoke down about her internship with Paige nudging her shoulders with her before giving Carly a look of encouragement.

A signal to boost their friend's mood, Lilian talks up first, speaking the logic and fact, "It's an internship at InStyle Magazine. It's amazing." Lilian put on a sweet smile. "Or would you rather stay at the Waffle House as a waitress forever?" Paige smirked, knowing that would most definitely boost Carly to go to New York.

Lilia giggles as Carly imminently put that offer down as she reaches over to her drink, taking a few fries well at it, just in time for Wade to walk towards them. Taking a seat beside his girlfriend, Carly, he planted a kiss on her head. "Hey, babe."

Lilian watches their interaction as they talked something about drunk rednecks to which Paige tries to push Wade more towards going to New York by claiming there are 'non-there.' No longer seeing the interest, Lilian's eyes wander around the diner, trying to find two people from the group that she is the tightest with.

Knowing they would be causing trouble as they were nowhere to be seen yet. Lilian was so occupied searching that she didn't notice Paige had left the table to her boyfriend leaving Carly, Wade, and her alone.

"You know I want to have a good time on our road trip this weekend," Wade noticed Lilian wasn't focusing on them and decided to whisper, "Now that we have a second... And I'm not trying to make this a big deal." He glances at Lilian whose eyes were now on the table in the countless newspaper in front of her, "But why on earth did your brother have to come with us?"

Lilian glances up at Wade, her ears perking up at the name of her partner. Hearing flawlessly fine to which Wade gave her an awkward smile. Having been caught talking behind someone's back, Wade spoke normally, however, not putting the subject down, "You said your parents weren't gonna post his bail anymore."

Lilian rolls her eyes, and decided on tuning down their conversation, as she playfully blows bubbles in her drink, she didn't want to leave the diner as it was too cold outside. "They didn't. Blake did," Carly glanced at Lilian also, lots of questions popping into her head, "He invited him. I guess Nick makes him feel more badass, I don't know."

Wade moved his attention to Lilian now, he and Carly had some wondering questions in mind, "Hey, how did you and Nick... Um, know each other." Lilian rose an eyebrow at them, it was the most expected question as a lot of people asked her the same thing.

Nick was the classic trouble boy, having fun with all the attention on him. Most fear Nick as he has quite a temper and foul mouth, unlike Lilian. She is a more silent one that prefers to be out of everyone's eyes, she wouldn't even lie nor harm a fly.

Yet, the question annoying everyone is how Nick and Lilian knew each other and amazingly fell in love with each other.

"It's a long story," Lilian replied calmly, "but it has something to do with my ex." Wade and Carly looked at each other, trying to figure it out but before they could ask much more, Nick and Dalton walk over to them, both boys took a seat with Lilian between them.

"Miss me?" Nick smirks, leaning closer to her and giving her a long lingering kiss which Lilian giggles into. He pulls her closer to him, placing a hand on her thigh as he took a sip from his beer.

Nick ignores Carly, her twin sister who wasn't pleased by his presence.

"So, what do you think, guys? Gonna be a sweet game tomorrow, huh?" Wade spoke up about the small tension between the sibling, attempting to put some light between them. Lilian wasn't bothered by it, she doesn't get along well with Carly anyway as she was only introduced into the group because she's dating Nick and close friends with Paige and Dalton.

"Yeah," Nick chuckles a fake one, before relying on a flat tone, rolling his eyes before in lands on Lilian. A genuine smile on his face as he watches her joke around with Dalton and his camera, being subdued, unlike the others to withdraw attention from her.

She took the camera, filming their surrounding as Dalton narrate in the most gibberish character yet, she filmed Nick to which the male stuck his tongue out causing her to giggle. Using her free hand she slightly pulls his tongue while zooming the camera to it.

"What do you think? Should a piercing be better here?" Lilian questions, with her sweet melodic voice, yet the words were almost dirty. From here, Wade and Carly can see that Nick's personality does sometimes rub off on her.

Dalton cut in from beside Lilian's ears he whispered teasingly, "Well, I can guarantee that your nights will be more fun," He wiggles his eyebrows. Lilian imminently grew red from head to toe while Nick laughed out, "Would you want that princess? It would be hours of fun in bed,"

"S-Shut up," Lilian push Nick's face from coming closer. Rolling her eyes but her shutter mess and state just made the boys enjoy it more. Behind her back, Nick and Dalton shared a fist bump.
