Not far from an abandoned mining site, Blake and his companions decided to take a break. The location, though eerie, exuded a raw beauty that left them in awe. Paige and Dalton began setting up camp a short distance away, dropping gear as they prepared for the night ahead. Meanwhile, Blake joined Nick, assisting him in unloading the final batch of equipment from the truck.

"Are you and Dalton planning on having sex while we go fetch the rest?" Blake's sudden question caught Nick off guard, looking at him -- what the fuck is he talking about? Chuckling, Blake elaborated, "That's exactly why you two should go pick them up."

Nick couldn't help but smirk, realizing Blake's ulterior motive—he wanted privacy with Paige. Despite feeling slightly uncomfortable discussing such matters with his friend, Nick was more than willing to venture out to find his own girlfriend, Lilian.

"Sure thing," Nick replied casually, glancing over at Paige and Dalton, who were engrossed in their conversation, blissfully unaware of the exchange between the two men. Seizing the opportunity, Blake turned to Paige, intending to inform her of the plan. However, Paige, concerned for Carly and Lilian's well-being, interjected, "It's okay, we can come along too."

Without missing a beat, Blake swiftly vetoed the suggestion. Denied the chance to attend a football game earlier, he was determined to have things go his way for once. "Honey, Nick really insists on going," he insisted, shutting down any further debate.

Paige was standing there, breathless and curious, watching as Blake pulled out his keys and handed them over to Nick. But just as Nick was about to take hold of the keys, Blake stopped and hurled them to Dalton. Nick could not believe his eyes, and his temper flared up as he yelled, "What the fuck, man!" Blake calmly explained that he did not want his truck to be a part of any potential car crash.

Nick rolled his eyes and muttered under his breath as he walked towards the car, waiting for Dalton to arrive. Once the cap man was near, he waited for Paige to distract Blake before throwing the keys back to Nick. Dalton shared a smirk with Nick and said, "If he doesn't want his truck to crash, you should drive." Without wasting a single moment, they both jumped into the truck, and Nick started the engine. Blake was left with his mouth open in surprise as Nick zoomed off without a second thought.

Nick was a skilled driver, demonstrating his expertise by covering a staggering distance of 3 miles in a mere five minutes. Meanwhile, Dalton was struggling to keep his nerves in check by constantly texting Lilian, hoping that she was safe and sound. However, as he looked up from his phone, he noticed that the sky was gradually turning dark, which caused his anxiety to rise even further since he knew that Lilian had a phobia of darkness.

"It's getting too dark out here. Lilian doesn't do well with the dark," he murmured, the words slipping out almost unconsciously, though Nick caught them easily.

Letting out a frustrated sigh, Nick adjusted the GPS once more, only to furrow his brow in dismay as it struggled to pinpoint their location. "What the heck is this place? This device can't even locate us," he muttered, his concern mounting as he contemplated their uncertain whereabouts. Dalton, already on edge and prone to skepticism, felt his worries compound, particularly regarding Lilian's well-being. With a sense of urgency, he dialed a familiar number on his phone, activating the speaker as he awaited a response.

"Hey, Dally!" Lilian's voice echoed through the truck, eliciting audible sighs of relief from both boys.

"Lilian!" Dalton's voice was trembling as he spoke to Lilian through the phone. "Lil, we're on our way to pick you up. Nick is driving," he said, trying to sound calm and collected, but his anxiety was evident in his voice. Lilian laughed at the news, although she knew that the guys couldn't see her.

Dalton wanted to make sure of Lilian's location and asked her again, "You're sure you're at the gas station, right?" Lilian confirmed once more, "Um, yeah sure." However, Lilian's hesitation in her response made Nick's temper pick, what was that suppose to mean? He snatched the phone from Dalton's hand and demanded, "What's with that 'umm?' What do you mean by that?"

Lilian sighed, knowing that Nick was angry. "Wade wanted to get a new fan belt for his car, but he couldn't find the right size at the store. So, his name is Bo by the way, he took us to his house to get it," she explained, her voice shaking with anxiety.

Nick and Dalton were stunned and worried. Wade took Lilian to a stranger's house. The second tried to remain calm knowing Nick was terrible in that field and asked Lilian where she was. "Lil, you can't just go to a stra- Where is his house?" he asked, his voice stern.

"Don't worry, I didn't take a step foot in!" Lilian reassured them. "Wade and Carly are inside with him to get the fan belt. He said he would drop us back at the station, so I'm just waiting in his truck. It was a long walk to his house... Please don't be mad," she pleaded with them, hoping to ease their concerns.

Meanwhile, on Lillian's side, she is multitasking by holding the phone in one hand while flipping through the radio stations with the other. However, she can't find anything interesting and eventually turns it off feeling bored. She then takes a look at her surroundings and notices a mailbox half swallowed by a Gueratere bush through the driver's side. She is only able to read the first three letters of the name: SIN...

"Hey, babe are you there?" Nick's voice on the other end of the phone line immediately soothes Lilian's nerves. "Please don't do anything else until I get there. The GPS is fucking with me, but I'll be with you soon. Just give me a call when you arrive," he adds. Lilian giggles and responds, "Okay, I'll wait for you. Hurry up."

There's a brief pause before Lilian whispers, "I love you." Without hesitation, Nick replies, "I love you more." Dalton's voice can be heard in the background shouting, "Me too!" Lilian chuckles and hangs up, ready to investigate her surroundings.

As she walks around the truck, which has a tailgate, Lilian heads towards the mailbox. She slowly pulls back the bush and sees the name on the mailbox - SINCLAIR. She is surprised because she thought it burned down.

Lilian peeks inside the mailbox and sees that it is full of spider webs. As she turns around to head back towards the truck, she notices something else. Lilian sees a scattering of discarded items in the truck bed such as cans, ropes, and dirty blankets. However, what catches her attention is a busted headlight with strands of hair stuck to the jagged edges.

Though Lilian is not able to connect the dots, she feels slightly concerned. She gets back into the truck and taps on the horn, a signal to Wade and Carly to hurry up.
