This one's kinda long btw

The room was pitch black besides the moonlight shining through his window. The prince is fast asleep in his chamber having a night terror.He tosses and turns in his sleep trying to fight whatever was holding him back in his dreams.

"No..y-you Cant! I-.." he mumbled.

He trembles and tries moving

"Please— nO!" He shouted and shoots up in bed panting.

The door opens.

"Are you alright your highness?" Asked one of his guards

"Huh? I- y-yes could you get y/n?...please? It's urgent" he said trying to catch his breath.

"Yes my prince." He said as he walked out and closed the door.

He sighs and puts his face in his hands....he then turns on his lamp and waits for y/n to arrive .

About 5 minutes later, she walked into the room with a tray of milk and cookies, just the way he liked them. Although, when she was in reach Ejirou put the tray to the side and just hugged her.

"Ei- what— are you ok what happened??" She said hugging him back. He gently cried into her shoulder and held her tight.

"God- it was horrible y/n I-"

"Shhhh sh sh everything's alright I'm here now Ei."

They stayed like that for a while till he moved to the bed and sat down.

"I brought you cookies...yk...like the ones I would always sneak to you" she said handing him the tray

"Thanks...I'm sorry I-"

"No need Ei no need. I was already awake so."

"Why we're you awake?"

"Couldn't sleep."

He pats the place next to him

"Ei you know I can't-"

"just for this night...please?"

"fine..."

before she started cooking. she had changed out of her corset into one of her loose dresses she would wear at night so she would be fine sleeping in it.

She crawled into the bed next to him as kiri turned off the lamp. She sighed and melted into his comfy bed after letting her hair down.

" you comfy there?" he said with a light chuckle

"quite actually. My room isn't the coziest per say." she said turning to him

"hm. your hair grew since the last time i saw it down"

"well the last time you saw it down was about a year ago so.."

she stared at the ceiling before Ejirou moved the hand from her stomach and replaced it with his head and hugged her waist. Naturally, she started playing with his hair.

"they took you from me....In the dream.."

"Im right here Ei, I always will be"

"I know...thank you.."

"hm.. you're quite welcome"

"can you sing me that song you used to sing to me when were little"

"No, you know I haven't sung in so long Ei.. at least not to others"
