After a morning of shopping, everyone went home. Boris went into his room, he took out a trumpet then went to the backyard. Henry looked at Boris questioningly, then asked Alice.
"What is Boris planning to do with that trumpet?"
"Well, we have a pretty big show tonight at a bar." Alice smiled, she went to the kitchen to drink water.
"Oh, is everyone a band?" Henry, surprised by the answer, quickly followed after Alice to ask more questions.
"That's right Doll, we usually go to a few places, Alice is usually the lead vocalist, I'm the backing vocalist and the dancer, Boris the instrument." Bendy entered the house, just in time to answer his question.
"Oh that sounds great! It'll be fun to see you guys perform on stage!" Henry smiled, he looked at Bendy very excitedly.
Bendy suddenly felt his face heat up. Henry watched him perform?? He will be so shy! Bendy immediately patted his face with his hand to wake up.
"Then... What shall we eat for lunch today?" Alice asked the two of them, while she saw Bendy's rarely embarrassed expression that made her laugh.
"W-what was that for?!" Bendy glanced at her, who was laughing at him strangely.
"It's nothing! How about bacon soup? Basic!" Alice stopped laughing, she opened the refrigerator to find the ingredients.
"I want to see Boris play the trumpet!" Henry thought excitedly, he quickly followed the direction Boris had gone earlier, to the backyard.
An exciting trumpet tune sounded, quickly drawing him in. He quickly found Boris sitting on a wooden bench in the corner of the garden, practicing hard.
Seeing Boris' concentration, Henry just approached carefully, not wanting to break it. Boris still did not notice Henry's presence, he seemed to be immersed in each melody of the music. Henry was quickly captivated by Boris's ability to play music, listening quietly.
Henry went to the back of the wooden chair, but accidentally tripped over a stone, causing him to fall to the grass. Boris was startled, he stopped playing the trumpet, looked in Henry's direction, then ran over to help him up.
"T- thank you..."
Henry quickly stood up, thanking Boris. Boris nodded, then turned back to the wooden chair, clapping his hands on the empty seat next to him.
"I'm so impressed with your talent!" Henry sat down, grinning happily turning to Boris. Boris shyly scratched his neck with his hand, nodding his thanks to Henry.
Boris didn't want to waste time, so he continued to practice. Henry happily danced to the music, he even hummed to the tune. Boris was surprised by Henry's voice, they were very happily immersed in the music.
After a while, Bendy went to the backyard to find them, to tell them that lunch was ready. Following the familiar tune of the trumpet, he saw Henry and Boris immersed in the music, making Bendy forget what he was going to say. The way Henry taps his feet and sings along to the music (even though he doesn't know the lyrics) is so captivating, that Beny stands still and watches them.
After the music finally ended, Bendy remembered what he was here for.
"Hey! Lunch is ready!"
Both heard the call, Henry quickly responded.
"Coming!"
The three quickly sat down at the table, and Alice looked at Bendy questioningly.
"Why did it take so long?"
"Hey Alice! Henry sings really well!" Bendy said excitedly, startling Henry.
"D- did you heard it?" Henry asked nervously, as Bendy nodded his head.
"Yes, your voice is amazing!" Bendy grinned back, making Henry shy, he blushed slightly.
"Really!" Alice asked, she was also curious to know. Boris nodded in agreement.
"Can you sing for me? I'm curious!"
"N- No way! I'm so shy!" Henry replied, he covered his face with his hand, embarrassedly looking at the three.
"Oh come on...Henry, pleaseee???" Alice begged him, puppy dog eyes on him.
"Noo- I- I can't!"
Henry quickly shook his head, avoiding her gaze. Boris thought of something, he took a candy and gave it to Alice. Alice understood, she smiled and spoke softly.
"So, how about a song for a candy?"
"C- candy?"
Henry stared at the candy, then thought carefully.
"O- Okay, that's a simple song that my mother often sings to me!" Henry finally agreed, Alice happily clapped her hands.
"Yay!"
Henry took a deep breath and began to sing, carefully recalling the lyrics from his memory. The three listened attentively, and after a while, Henry finished his song, looking shyly at the three of them.
"Oh my! What an angel's voice!!" Alice exclaimed as she clapped her hands in approval.
"That's the most amazing voice I've ever heard!" Bendy clapped his hands too, carefully keeping that wonderful moment in his heart.
"T- thanks..." Henry bowed his head in thanks as Alice handed him the candy.
"Hey, why doesn't Henry join our band! That would be great!" Bendy jumped up from his chair excitedly. Boris also strongly agrees.
"J- Join your band? How can it be! I have no talent or know anything!" Henry was surprised, he quickly shook his head.
"Come on, don't let your voice go to waste!" Bendy begged. Alice looked at Bendy and then at Henry thoughtfully.
"Okay, if Henry doesn't want to then we can't force him!" Alice said pitifully.
Henry looked at the three sad expressions, hesitantly said.
"So, can I have candy after every show?" The three were surprised, they immediately agreed.
"Of course!"
"So that's the deal!" Henry said happily.
