I'm in the dressing room pacing back and forth. I was pretty nervous since this was Aqua's first time on MAMA. Not only that but my "beloved" ex boyfriend would be there. We had ten minutes before we went on.

"Don't worry you'll do amazing like always" Yeji explains. It's pretty normal for Yeji to be the one to calm not only me but everyone else down since she is the leader of the group.

"Yeah but every time we've performed you know who wasn't here" I respond. Yeji looks me dead in my eyes. "There ain't no way your still not over him"
I roll my eyes "It's not like that but it's still so weird"
Yeji walks beside me while our group Aqua huddles around us as we are getting ready to walk backstage.
Yoon chimes in with "You guys were so cute together though"
"Not helping" Yeji exclaimes leaving Yoon in giggles.

"This is it, good luck everyone" Yeji says. We walk to the dimly lit stage and get in our positions.

The intro for our song "Love Dive" starts playing.
I look into the crowd only to soon after meet eyes with the one and only Kim Taehyung. I quickly look away stopping the mutual staring.

The stage lights up causing a uproar of cheers. Mostly from fans but also idols who look happy to have us hear.

Seeing the camera pinning to my face I snap out of character. I start posing for the camera even though I was out of breath. I walk off the stage with the rest of the member behind me after hearing all the applause.

We head backstage to cool off. I change my outfi. That was probably the best reaction I've ever received. MAMA is new to us and I guess it's really hype here.

After changing I sit down in the audience. Just my luck to be seated next to BTS.

The next group preforming was blackpink with their hit song Kill This Love. A fool wouldn't know this song. As they perform I quietly jam to the song. The camera spotlights me and I put both my hands in the form of a gun since it relates to the choreo. Being an idol means anything you do gets people to cheer. The camera moves out of my way and I chuckle to myself. Out of the corner of my eye I catch that one person glancing at me after my quick moment ended. Taehyung.

All performances were over and it was time for awards. Best boy group of the year award was up. BTS won that as expected. No one can lie and say they didn't deserve that.

Fast forward best girl group was announced. Twice, Loona, Blackpink, Mamamoo, and Red Velvet were all nominated along with Aqua. All these people were so talented I don't stand a chance. What felt like forever the MC came onstage.
"The winner for best girl group of the year goes to.."
"AQUA"

My eyes light up and I smile from ear to ear. Never in a million years would I think I would win against all these successful idols.
My heels click when I walk towards the stage with Aqua. Our song Love Dive plays. I was chosen to say the speech. I get hold of the microphone and say it. The music slowly fades.

"I'm so very thankful that I'm here receiving this award today. We are so grateful to accomplish such an amazing thing. I obviously want to say thank you to our fans the waves that got us here today. What would I be without you guys honestly. Words can't even explain how appreciative I am. Even our haters have helped us achieve this. Thank you gain. I love you guys!"
I start to tear up as soon as I take a glance at my members also noticing tears in their eyes. I was mostly shocked to see Chaeyoung crying. She literally never cries and is always staying strong for us. That was really my breaking point I knew all of us were so grateful to win.
Our song starts up again and we walk off stage.

My MAMA experience is over and it went better then I expected.

Me and Aqua walk towards the dressing room seeing many idols. As we walk we get many "congratulations".

I pull myself off to stop the awkward interaction. Looking up to see the person I crashed into. I see the last person I wanted to. Screw me for not paying attention.

"Oh um Taehyung my bad" I grab Liz's hand as she pulled me up and start to walk away.
"Wait" he says
I ignore him and walk away not before seeing all his members turn their heads to look at me with surprised and sympathetic eyes.
