Annerose, The Spectrobe Master 2

Chapter 4: Hyoga.

Annerose, Rikurou and Jeena's takes them to the desert planet of nessa, where they meet Gelberus the High krawl of fire. The three hear from Commander grant about a dimensional rift Appearing near Nessa. The three enter the mysterious portal hoping Aldous is on the other side.

Jeena lets out a sigh of Relief, knowing they made out of the portal unharmed but is still uneasy due to the radar.

"Something wrong, Jeena?" Annerose asked, curiously.

"You're not going to believe this, but my radar indicates we're not in the nanairo system anymore." Jeena answered with uneasiness. "The portal brought us to an entirely new star system!"

"That's a bit of shocker." Annerose admitted.

"Yeah, that's what i thought at first, but it's true! Fortunately, the portal still looks stable, so we should be able to return to nanairo." Jeena mentioned.

"That's good to know." Annerose admitted. Annerose realizes something and looks out the windshield of the ship. "Why is it so dark here? Shouldn't this system have a sun?"

Let's see..." jeena said as she did a quick scan of the system. "... my readings indicate... there is no sun!" Jeena realized in shock.

"I doubt the krawl did this. They hate light." Annerose assumed.

"So, how are we going to find Aldous in this vast darkness?" Jeena wondered.

Annerose takes a look and sees a planet in the distance.

"Let's go to that planet. I have a feeling  Gelberus is there." Annerose suggested.

"I suppose you're right." Jeena agreed slightly reluctant.

Jeena careful pilots the cruiser and takes it to the nearby planet. After they had landed, Annerose went to the cargo room to get Riku. The two then exited the cruiser and were met with an extremely cold gust of wind.

Annerose shudders, and says as her teeth chattered: "Th-th-this place is c-c-c-colder than himuro...!"

Riku shudders too, saying in frustration: "h-h-himuro wasn't nearly as c-c-cold!?"

Komainu shivers too before climbing Riku.

"H-hey! What are you...!?" Riku questioned komainu before he suddenly crawled into his shirt. "Wait... that actually feels nice." Riku admitted.

Annerose gets closer to riku, wanting to get warm too.

"Don't just keep all the heat to yourself." Annerose told riku, selfishly.

Riku lets out a sigh and they start exploring hyoga, occasionally stopping to dig up fossils. They continued forward but a wall of ice blocked their way.

"So much for going this way." Annerose noticed.

"I think komainu can help us." Riku suggested.

"What do you mean?" Annerose wondered.

"Ice is just frozen water but, it melts with heat. If we think of this ice as the Aurora property, Komainu should be able to melt it." Riku explained to annerose.

"I get it, like the lockdown in genshi." Annerose responded with understanding.

Komainu seemed to understand them and jumped out of Riku's shirt. Komainu transformed into komanoto and blasted the ice, clearing the way.

"Well, he cleared the way." Riku noticed.

"There's a vortex." Annerose pointed out.

"Really....?" Riku wondered, Exasperated. "I really don't want to battle in this cold."
