Annerose, The Spectrobe Master 2

Chapter 12: Krux.

After preparing the dynaliums and assault ships, Annerose and co, finally arrived at Krux's palace, Malik. Krux now awaits for them to arrive while sitting on his throne in his room.

"What the heck?" Riku wondered after seeing room they entered.

"3 other portals?" Annerose noticed.

"How do we know which is correct?" Riku wondered.

"One of them has to lead us to where we need to go." Annerose assumed.

The four take a look around and look at all the portals. Riku noticed that most of the portals were spinning to the left while 1 was spinning on the right. Riku got closer to the portal that was spinning on the right and looked at it, wondering why this one of all the others was spinning a different way.

"Miss annerose, i think i found a way forward!" Riku alerted her.

Annerose hurries over and asks him: "What did you find?"

"I think the portals that spin to the right are the way forward." Riku explained.

Annerose looks at the rotation of the portal and looks back an a previous one, then saying: "You may be right but how can we be sure we'll continue forward?"

"No choice but to enter. Krux may be trying to test us." Riku replied.

"True." Annerose agreed.

Riku, Annerose, Komainu and Maka enter the portal but end up in the same room.

"What!? I was sure it would move us forward!" Riku said with frustration.

"calm down, we'll find a way." Annerose assured him.

Meanwhile with Jeena...

"Let's see what we got here..." jeena said as she used her hand scanner.

Jeena reads what appeared on her scanner: "Though identical in appearance, they are not one and the same. The way will open only for he who understands."

Jeena has an annoyed expression on her face and says: "what's with this message? i don't get it."

*Beeping!*

"Riku, Annerose? What's up?" Jeena asked curiously.

"We're in a room with four different portals. Riku thought he found a way forward but we ended up back in the room we just left." Annerose explained

"Wait portals? And they look exactly the same?" Jeena wondered.

"Yeah, any thoughts?" Riku asked jeena curiously.

Jeena thinks about the message she decoded and says to them: "keep following the portal that spinning in the opposite direction, it should lead you where you need to go eventually."

"Why?" Riku wondered.

"Something i read, it said : "Though identical in appearance, they are not one and the same. The way will open only for he who understands" and i think it's talking about the portals." Jeena explained.

"Maybe that applies for the rooms too. While the room may look identical, we might be transported to a similar room." Annerose assumed.

"Either way, we've got a long way to go to find krux." Riku admitted.

"I'll see if i can find any more info about the portals and rooms." Jeena told them.

Annerose and riku head through more of the portals while trying to find their way through the palace.

*Beeping!*

"Yes Jeena? Riku replied,

"I got some more info. It said: "that which spins right or that which spins left. Once you select on, stick with it through the end." It still doesn't clear things up but if you stick to which ever portal you choose, you two can keep going." Jeena told them.
