CALL IT LOVE

SEVERAL MONTHS LATER

The lockdown has been extended forever. It's 2021 now. Everything is online. We have classes everyday until 5 in the evening. All our productive ideas are to the dustbin. Lots and lots of projects are being assigned.

Everyday, I make sure to FaceTime Amma and appa, whatever the situation is. This pandemic has made us realize the importance of living the moment. Mom contracted Corona virus. Thank God, she only had mild symptoms. But lots and lots of people have lost their lifes or their loved ones.

And about Tanvi, she is a super friend. At this point, she knows everything about me. We watched a lot of movies, series and what not. She has developed feelings for her school senior, who has been texting her since the lockdown started. Their chats clearly show that he has a thing for Tanvi. In fact, who would not fall for this beauty.

We cooked a lot of different new foods, created a few, fought a lot, took decisions and she has been super supportive in helping me to loose ties with Vishnu.

About Arjun, we grew more closer. He often comes here as his house is nearby. He even stays some days, we all watch movies. We both have developed mutual feelings. I told him everything about me since the accident. He has also shared things to me about his past life. This guy, he has never been in love before.

He always talks about building a big future, make a lot of money, and retire by 35. He sounds dumb, I know. After 35, he wants his partner and him to travel around the world. He has planned for a perfect future. He'd always say that he'll leave his kids with Tanvi when they would go on their world tour.

He is such a patient listener. He always stands by my side no matter what. Even though we have developed feelings, we have never expressed it or given hints. Once drunk, he told Tanvi that he has feelings for me. My dearest bestfriend spilled the tea to me. If not, is she even my best friend?

Things have been going on really smooth until today, the 7th of February. I woke up early at 6. I made tomato garlic chutney, coconut chutney and sambar as sides for breakfast. The dosa batter is ready and fermented. Arjun said he's coming over, which has now become a usual thing. He mentioned that he's gonna spend the day here. I'm so much excited for him. He finally arrives now at 8.30. My classes start by 9 and ends by 3. We have an hour's lunch break at 1. We eat whatever is leftover from breakfast or mostly order food online.

Now that he comes by 8.30, we eat lunch and then sit for classes for almost 6 hours. We take a bath in the evening and watch movies. Arjun even piled a bunch of his clothes in the cupboards of the room downstairs.

Our college is cruel that we have some Sunday special classes.Here he comes! Tanvi is asleep on the couch. Arjun comes in, bangs her head with his fist. She wakes up saying "You're such an ass, bro". We then eat, carry on with our classes. We then cook mutton biryani for lunch in our one hour break and decide to eat it while the class goes on. While cooking, he says "We should catch up next Sunday."

While the class was boring, I counted on what date the next Sunday falls.
