Chapter 1 |||| how everything started

He smirked, "So that's how it is".
All i could do is nod in agreement.
"I told you, I'm way stronger than you. So don't try to push my limits"
I stepped closer to his face, slightly smirking back.
I only knew this Boy, or rather Cyborg for an Hour and His presence was already enjoyable.
Both of us were exhausted from out little Fight while walking back To the Apartment Building.
If it wasn't for Saitama, that bald head, I probably would've been introduced to Genos Way later.

"Oh, right. I forgot to get groceries for Saitama-sensei."
His Golden irises looked at me, obviously wanting to hint that I should accompany him on his Chore.

I just shrugged,"sure, I planned on getting groceries myself anyways."
"Thank you, (Y/N)-Sensei". He looked forward again, trying to hide the tiny smile that crawled to his mouth.

"I told you not to call me that..I want you to see me as a friend, not a teacher you know. I'm younger than you after all"
I scoffed. It was all because of that fucking deal I had to make with Saitama.
He said I could come over for dinner If I Taught Genos how to socialize and "be a normal teen again".

I only agreed because I was sick of eating instant noodles every evening...Living by yourself for the first time can be hard after all.
And I also thought it would be nice to have a friend your age around,
But Oh boy, Genos didn't seem to like the idea at all. Well, at first he didn't.

"Why would I need you to teach me such useless things? You're not as strong as Saitama, or even me." So were his words.

The Blondie soon found out that he was wrong. Of course he couldn't beat an Upper S-class hero like me.

We entered the local Kombini Store and upon me trying to grab the shopping basket, our hands touched.

To my surprise, Genos' hand did not pull back, but he instead took the basket before I could even get a chance. "Let me carry it" His Ice cold look let my heart skip a beat. He was VERY attractive after all.

Trying to act all cool I just pretended to look for something on the shelves and grabbing some snacks, as well as Some energy drink cans..

After Grabbing everything i needed and putting it in the basket, i got a bit curious.
"Right now, when our hands touched...did you feel it? You're not fully human obviously"
I looked down to his Metallic body/gear.
Genos put down a bag of carrots and replied "Yes, I am capable to feel touch as a human does. Though My pain rate is Lowered. Dr. Kuseno tried to keep me as human as possible"

I nodded interested "ah, so you can taste things too?"

"Indeed"

"And What's your favorite food?" A big smile went upon my lips.

He paused for a second before raising his head again. "Strawberries, I think. I like their sweetness"

"Really?! I love strawberries too!" I wheeled through my pockets to get out my phone before putting it in front of his face, so that he could eye The little keychain hanging on the edge off my phone. It was a little shaped strawberry.

"It's cute, right?!"

He got a little surprised at first, but then considered scanning the keychain With his robotic irises. "It's a limited edition..."

"Mhm!", I agreed excitedly, "I have a matching one at home, you can have it if you want to"

Genos just smiled at the answer and continued putting groceries on the basket.

After finishing the little shopping tour, we finally returned to the Apartment Building with genos carrying all the bags.

Saitama gave us a small glance when we entered, but Turned his attention back at the Tv pretty quickly. "Took you both a while, huh"

"I apologize, Saitama-Sensei. Me and (Y/N)-Sens-...(Y/N)-San went to get groceries on our way back" Genos put the bags on the Kitchen table and immediately started preparing dinner for us all.

And All I did was take a seat next to the Bald head. Watching animal documentaries wasn't my thing so I occupied myself with my phone. "No messages..." I mumbled, returning my phone to the place it used to be, obviously ignoring the hundreds of messages popping up on all my social media.

A couple of minutes of silence passed by until Saitama sat up and turned off The Tv.
"Soooo, How's it going with our boy?" He looked at me while making sure that Genos wasn't listening.

I shrugged, "I think I can work with him. For now I'm planning on getting him used to conversations and opening up to me. Easy peasy"

"How did he even agree to it? You must be a real good one" Saitama frowned.

"After I won the fight I explained to him that only being strong physically doesn't
Make you a strong hero. You need to be mentally aware about your true limits and desires. Until then, it doesn't matter how strong you are, you won't get far with that strategy"

The baldy looked surprised at me " Woahh, you really are a good mentor! I'm glad that I chose you..You're definitely gonna make my work easier (Y/N)-chan" He laughed while patting my back.

It didn't take long until Genos joined us as well with the dinner he made. "Enjoy the meal"

"This is the best food I've ever eaten. Genos you're a genius!" I couldn't help but smile at the delicious Meals he made.

"A true Housewife indeed" Saitama laughed.

"I could cook more often for you (Y/N)-san. Only if you want to of course" It wasn't that noticeable but I saw how flustered he got right away.

After Helping with the dishes I Returned to my Apartment next door, which was way bigger than Saitama's and I also liked it more.
My full stomach got me tired so That after taking a shower,I immediately took a nap.
I had to wake up early the next day after all, I wouldn't want Genos to wait for me.

To be honest, the thought of being near him again made my heart flutter, but Eventually I got to fall asleep, having a bittersweet dream of a blonde boy.
