The freak show, my home.

I was never accepted as a child because of a birthmark that cover most of my face. My parents put me up from adoption not long after I was born. Than Elsa Mars came into my life, she visited the orphanage when I was about ten years old. Not long after she adopted me and took me to my new home which was the freaks show.

My life changed ever since I have come here for the better. I grew up with Jimmy Darling basically my whole life. We became best friends rather quickly once I joined the show.

Today I am twenty-two and have been living in the freak show for over a decade.

I sighed as I got out of the cramped bed in my caravan. Making my way towards my tiny vanity in the corner of the caravan. Placing myself on the set i front of the mirror.

I tied my hair back and placing a headband on my head to push back the rest of my hair. I started to do my makeup for the day. As a performer I had to look my best at all times and over the years I started get really good at makeup because I do basically everyday for the show.

Standing up going towards my cupboard to look for an good outfit to wear

loving the way I looked I exited my trailer. I walking towards the main tent I saw Jimmy talking to some two headed girls. Deciding to introduce myself to the pair. I walked over to them stopping next Jimmy.

"hello" I said the the girls in front of me

Jimmy looked at me and smiled which I returned.

"hello I'm Bett" I cheerfully heard from one of heads

"shut up Bett" the other head grumbled at its other side.

"this is Dott" Bett said to me, I nodded while looking at the twins.

they both left with Dott leading it. I turned to my boyfriend Jimmy. "good morning Jim" i said to the man in front of me.

"good morning love, you look stunning as always" he confused to me I smirked at him.

"Thank you lovely" I added I moved close to Jimmy and gave him a quick peck on his lips.

"you ready for the performance tonight?" he asked me sweetly.

I nodded in response "yea I can't wait to show off my skills to the crowd" I giggled out.

He smiled "same we are going to amazing" he replied.

It was finally time for the show tonight, Jimmy was introducing people and I was next.

"next up is Y/n" he announced and I studded onto stage swaying to show my dress and got up the mic. I smiled at the two people in the crowd. The beat started to play and I started to sing my heart out.

Once I finished I heard quiet clapping I smiled and walked off stage. The rest of the show continues as normal.

Show ended and I was having talk to Jimmy when two people from the crowd came up to all of us.

The guy announced "I want that girl" while pointing. I raised an eyebrow and look towards the other. I felt Jimmy's hand wrap tight around my waist.

Elsa looked at the pair "i'm sorry she is not up for sale"

The guy started to have a tantrum and yelling at his mother.

"we will pay you $100,000" the women said

Elsa replied "it's her choice if she wants to go or not"

I glared at the guy in front of me "fuck no"

The man screamed and ran off with his mother following behind.

I could still feel Jimmy still tensed, I turned and faced him.

"hey it's ok i'm still here don't worry I won't go anywhere" I said while grabbing his face to face me.

"I known I just hate him why the hell would he think he can just do that" he said through gritted teeth.

I pecked on his cheek and hugged which he returned.

"come on let's go to our trailer" I encouraged him. He nodded and we made our way to our trailer.

We laid on our bed wrapped in each other arms, slowly falling asleep.
