Finally we arrived at our house and found Tim once again waiting for us on the couch with his arms crossed. He didn't look happy. Then again he never really looks happy.

"Hey Tim. I thought I could be out till midnight. Whatcha want me back for?" I asked taking a seat on the other end of the couch. Curly sat on the chair across from Tim and I.

"Been rumors of the Tiber Street Tigers wantin' to expand their territory. They want the tracks." Tim said.

"What do they want them for?" I asked turning on the couch so I was fully facing Tim and then pulled my legs onto the couch. My feet were only a few inches from Tims side.

"Don't know, but until this is resolved I don't want you stayin' out late."

"What? What about Curly? How come he gets to stay out late?" I ask, this is really unfair.

"Curly can hold his own. You can't. Besides they will play dirty if they don't get what they want." Tim told me.

"This ain't fair. I'll carry a blade, I'll have someone with me everywhere I go. You can't keep me from going out." I complained.

"I ain't keepin' ya from doing nothing. I just want you back here before dark." Tim said in a no nonsense tone.

"For how long?" I questioned.

"Like I said, until this gets fixed." Tim said getting up.

I groaned. Great now cause he has a problem with someone I'm the one that suffers.

"Fine, I'm going to my room then." I said getting up. "Let me know when dinner is."

I started on my way to my room before I was stopped by Tim.

"Who's sweatshirt is that?" Tim asked. I froze and looked down at the dark blue sweatshirt Soda had given me. I forgot I had it.

"Nobody's, just a friends." I say trying to avoid this conversation. The last boy I had shown interest in ended up with a black eye and a broken arm once Tim found out I liked him.

"Hmm, 'just a friends' my ass. It's that Curtis kids ain't it?" Great he knows.

"Which one? There are three of them." I point out trying to get him to give up.

"You know which one I mean. The middle one, Sodapop. The one you were out with today." Tim once again crossed his arms. I saw Curly standing behind him smirking.

"Okay yeah it is. So what?" I ask getting annoyed. Why does he have to question everything?

He didn't say anything, he just shook his head and went to the kitchen. Curly came over to me.

"So whats this about?" He asked grabbing my sleeve.

"Nothing." I yanked my arm back and marched to my room. I could hear Curly laughing from the living room.

It's Sunday now and I woke up to bright beams of sun making their way through a gap in my curtains. I groaned and rolled over trying to block out the sun. My alarm clock says 7am. Stupid sun. I see a note next to my alarm clock. I reach up to grab it and see Curlys atrocious hand writing.

Mornin' stupid,

Tim left early this morning to talk to the Tiber Street Tigers. He don't want you leavin' the house. I'm supposed to make sure you don't, but I ain't gonna play babysitter to my older sister. So do what you want, but don't blame me if you get into trouble.

Great, he didn't even bother telling me when Tim is gonna be back. Well I'm still going out. Tim told me yesterday I could be out until it gets dark. And seeing as how its October its get dark at like 7 I have no time to lose. Well maybe a few more hours of sleep.
