Riya's Pov
My gaze left unwavered, and my eyes remain fixated at our room door, right from where Aditya left a few minutes back, the impact of my words slowly settling in.
My mind was blank, and my heart was full with a multitude of unfathomable emotions surrounding me, with guilt overpowering them all.
And much to my dismay, this heart-aching guilt intensified to no limits, the moment I realized that after almost fifteen days, it was the first time Aditya had gone out for work, and that too for an important meeting, and instead of wishing him luck, all I did was unreasonably judging and upsetting him.
My lips quivered, and my heart sank as my thoughts wandered back of all the nonsense I had blurted to him mindlessly, and I blinked my eyes repeatedly to stop that stupid lone tear that was hell-bent upon falling out of my eyes.
I turned my face sideways, to spare a glance at the subject matter of our first fight, which was leisurely enjoying its stay on the office table.
I wanted to call him, message him, just talk to him, but couldn't. Neither I had the guts to do that, nor I wanted to disturb his already disturbed self. Sighing deeply, My guilt-ridden self exited the room to descend downstairs.

"What happened bhabhi?" Kunal's concerned voice fell into my ears, as I was lost preparing the dinner in the kitchen.
Turning around, I smiled lightly in assurance, "Nothing." I shook my head, "Why did you say that?" I asked as I had tried my best to act normal and to mask the unhappiness on my face the moment I came downstairs.
"Nothing, I just felt like you are chup-chup." He shrugged casually, taking out the water bottle from the fridge, "Did bhai say something to you?" He added after a second, furrowing his eyebrows.
No, Your bhabhi said a lot of things to your bhai!
"Arey na na, I was just missing home. Nothing much." He looked at me carefully, probably deciphering the authenticity in my words, and nodded his head slowly.
He turned around with the water bottle in his hands, but before leaving the kitchen, he looked back at me, a soft smile playing on his lips,
"You know," He started, as I looked at him,
"Bhai doesn't remain angry for a long time, he'll come around soon." His words made me smile too, and he remarked, narrowing his eyes warningly,
"And yeah, you terribly suck at lying. Because your eyes and words don't coordinate well while lying. So you really need to work hard in this lying department." His words made me giggled lightly, as I shook my head, while he left the kitchen, pretty successful in his attempt to calm my heart to some extent.

Has it ever happened to you that you prepare a full speech you'll say to a person, or how you'll behave in front of them, or you'll look at them a certain way, or you initiate a conversation with them in a certain manner the moment they'll come in front of you? And you dream and think of how that meeting would go? And you visualize the conversations in your head, silently hoping it would turn exactly the way you thought?
