------------------------------------------------------

A new dawn shined upon the continent reflecting the devastation that was still ever-present from the recent war; and a new one was already beginning. Wolf, the Shaded Isles renegade, began her trek down the mountain into the ruined city below for more supplies.

Looking around her, she viewed a sight she has seen many time before on previous supply runs, but it never ceased to amaze her. The devastation of the once powerful city showed its' mark every day. As Wolf began her normal route of covering the edges, hitting the center last, she picked up every scrap show could find, metal rods, weapons, jewelry, seeds, no matter what it was, she grabbed some of it that she could carry back to base.

As she began her route farther into the city, the more surreal it felt as the buildings of what were once the Golden Age were standing in ruin.

As the town square was nearing in her route, Wolf looked between the buildings and noticed smoke was billowing out up ahead. She wasn't alone! She quickly packed away the scrap she had on her into her rucksack and pulled out a small sword and ran to the smoke.

As she neared the center the higher the smoke appeared, looking like it came from the chimneys of the buildings around; to which she was proven correct when she noticed a small building across the square. Wolf began her small trek across the square, but kept her guard up as it could easily be a trap. Nearing the door, she read out the one word labeling this building, "Tavern," as she slowly opened it an walked inside.
