Chapter 2

Artemis P.O.V

My hunters and I had been looking for Perseus Jackson for 6 months. He was accused of aiding Gaea in the giant war. It pissed me off that we couldn't find him. He couldn't be dead because Hades said that his soul hasn't entered the Underworld.

If that wasn't frustrating enough girls kept appearing at my camp. They told us that some guy killed their family....who had been abusing them in sick ways....and then they passed out, then they say that they woke up here. I have heard rumours about the same thing happening at Camp Half-Blood, well without the killing of their family.

It probably won't be long before Zues orders for my hunters to drop the search for Perseus and search for that man . Now me and my hunters were going through some woods near Canada.
I slowed down when I sensed a strong presence.

I signalled for my hunters to slow down. I looked around but saw nothing. I decided to just move away from the presence. Then the presence seemed to surround us.

"So the famous hunters of Artemis are looking for Perseus Jackson", Said a boy seeming to appear out of nowhere.

I glared at him. His presence was strong. It seemed stronger than many gods I know of.

"who are you", I asked.

"Haven't you wondered who keeps sending girls to your hunt", he said.

I glared at him.

"So that was you", I said, "I'm taking you to Olympus"

"Sorry but I dont like the gods", he said, "I'll just be going"

I notched an arrow and went to aim. Him and his presence were completely gone. It was like he was never here.

Shadow P.O.V

I was camping in the woods. I had just saved a demigod from some monsters, but I didnt want to return to my master just yet. I was about to lay down when I sensed something. A strong presence and many smaller ones. The hunters of Artemis. The hunters had been looking for me...no Perseus for a while. I decided to see how the ones I sent there are doing.

I let my presence be known. I couldnt let them know how strong I am. Stronger than most Olympians. I waited for the hunters and Artemis to get close.

"So the famous hunters of Artemis are looking for Perseus Jackson", I said.

"who are you", Artemis asked....well more of demanded.

"Haven't you wondered who keeps sending girls to your hunt?", I asked

"So that was you", Artemis said, "I'm taking you to Olympus"

"Sorry I don't like the gods", I said, "I'll just be going"

I concealed my presence and shadow-traveled to a nearby tree. I watched Artemis raise her bow. Then she looked confused. I'll watch the hunters for a while.
