Subject F-49-B. Status: Healthy. Hunger: Satisfied. Thirst: Satisfied. Happiness Level: Critical. Crest: Major. Currently: Escaping.

"Ahh, never gets old."

Felix sighed with minor relief as he felt the neck of the scientist snap under his hands. He shuddered with slight delight, dropping the lifeless body to the floor. "F-49-B, huh?" He chuckled darkly. "Oh, I'll show them. I'll show them how truly powerful this Crest of mine is."

He grunted in frustration at his lack of knowledge of the facility's floor plan, picking a random hall and heading down it. More dudes in funny green outfits were there, weapons aimed at him. Felix sighed. "Lovely. More clowns."

"Halt!" One of them bravely shouted. "Or we'll shoot!" Adorable. They think they can stop me, a monster of their own creation. Felix kept walking, moving fast enough that he could grab hold of one of their black fire sticks. With one swift motion, he jerked the weapon away from its owner, openly firing upon them.

Felix pumped them full of holes, having them all killed within seconds, and hummed. "This thing's handy." He continued down the hall, firing at practically everything that moved. After a few moments of aimless wandering, he finally found a map. "Took long enough. How the hell do they know where they're going without one of these everywhere?" He shot at another scientist fleeing the area, feeling satisfaction run up his spine to hear him scream. "Everything looks the exact fucking same."

After locating the route to the main offices, he started that direction. He stepped over the writhing scientist on the floor, sighing with content. "Pity. You thought you could hold me. I almost want to feel bad for y'all."

Warning. Emergency shutdown activated. Dangerous subject escaped. Warning. Emergency shutdown activated. Dangerous subject escaped.

"Ah, shit."

Felix kept walking at his leisurely pace, growling in discontent when the hall he walked down was closed off by thick titanium doors. Cute. They think that'll save them.

With hardly any effort, Felix busted down the one foot thick security door with one simple activation of his major Crest. He shuddered again with satisfaction of the doors falling to the ground with a massive and echoing clank. He stepped through the doorway, continuing on towards the office.

He shot at a few more scientists and soldiers, feeling nothing but relief and pure delight at hearing their agonized and anguished screams. He broke down more doors with his Crest, finally standing outside his goal. The main office.

Effortlessly, he busted down those security doors and fired at the inhabitants. He cared not how many he hit, as long as they all somehow ended up dead. Once the room had gone silent and his weapon had run out of ammo, he stepped in further. There it was. The bane of his existence, the reason for his madness, just staring him in the face from the massive screens above. His Crest. His own face.

His family name.

There wasn't much he could do about it. His beloved brother was dead, and his damned father was goddess knows where. Fraldarius. He resented that name, hated it. Felix sighed, discarding the empty gun for the one the head soldier had. He walked over to and rummaged through the lead scientist's pockets and handbags, stealing their money, keycard, and other valuable belongings.

The clothes he wore were skimpy and tattered, but whatever. They had pockets that worked. He shoved the cash and belongings into his pockets, checking the others before using the keycard to open the big, vault-like door in the room that led to the outside world.

"Hello, world." He manically chuckled, walking out into the sunrise-kissed land. "Felix is finally home."
