Part 19- Family Troubles

Hi guys, I will be trying hard to finish the last 2 episodes today and tomorrow, idk how it will go.

On the first day of the host club being open to student and parents, after the parents had arrived and settled, kyoya pulls me aside.

"I hate to have to do this, but I know that a lot of the parents here can be... Very..."

"Homophobic?"

"...yes."

"Kyo, if you're asking me to not be all lovey dovey, I won't. We know we love each other, and 2 days not showing that isn't the end of the world."

"Are you sure?"

"Of course"

I smile at him, reassuring him. He nods and we head back over to the party.

I think today and tomorrow are gonna be fun.

...

Everyone stands around, talking to their clients and/or their parents. A woman and her daughter fawning over tamaki, kyoya talking to a man, the twins telling their life story, people adoring Mori fixing honey's buttons, haruhi pushing coffee around, and me talking to my clients.

I notice a younger woman glaring at tamaki. Red dress, blue eyes, and brown hair. Haruhi welcomes her, with her glaring at my sister.

"Father!" I hear tamaki say.

My gaze averts to a tall man with a white suit on, presumably tamakis dad. "Do not refer to me as father. Address me properly, as chairman."

Kyoya welcome the man to sit down. The man talks about how bad of a leader tamaki is to Kyo, with tamaki listening in but hiding. His father whispers to kyoya, who calls haruhi over. She sits down and he smiles brightly at her.

He gets a little too close to her, holding her hand and leaning close. "Alright that's enough sir" I say, sitting next to haruhi.

SLAP

Kyoyas glasses fall to the ground. My boyfriend now. has a red mark on his cheek.

"Is this how my son has been spending his time?" A man who looks similar to Kyo says.

I stand up, trying to hold myself back. But then he says, "you are an embarrassment to the ootori name."

I have to admit, I lost it. Haruhi had to hold me back. I was pissed.

And what's worse, kyoya just stood there like nothing was wrong.

The tall, dark haired man then walks to tamakis dad and speaks to him, like he didn't just hit his own son.

We all go over to kyoya, trying to help him, when he just pushes through us and goes "don't worry about it. It's not like I wasn't expecting it."

We stand there amazed.

Tamakis grandmother then walks in. He gets her, with us standing near.

"I hate that woman" honey says.

That's shocked me. He doesn't talk like that. Ever.

"Filthy child" the woman says. "Lady eclaire, please come here."

The girl from before stands up and walks over to the old woman.

"For the remainder of today and tomorrow, you will be eclaire's escort."

I can tell I hate both of them already.
