the morning after

I heard the birds at my window, as I turn over to see april sleeping peacefully. All I could do was smile, last night was the best feeling I ever had. It felt like we were connected not just in a sexual way but in a spiritual way to. I kissed her head trying to wake her up in a loving way. She started to chuckle as I kissed her ear.

(Me) good morning.

She turned around so we can be face to face.

(April) good morning, what time is it?

I looked at my clock.

(Me) its seven twenty.

April stretched her arms. Then grabbed my face, kissing my lips and me kissing her soft lips.

(April) I had fun last night.

I blushed.

(Me) I did too.

April slowly kissed down to my neck. But the kisses were cut short when mom knocked on my door.

(Bella) sweetie, are you okay ?

Panic took over my brain. My eyes got wide as I hovered over April. She put her finger on her lips , telling me to be quiet.

(Me) um, yeah mom I'm just now getting ready.

(Bella) okay, well your food is getting cold.

I ran so fast to the door I don't even think my legs catched up to me. Mom opened my door enough so I could just let her see me

(Me) I'll be downstairs there in a minute, okay mom?

Mom gave me a small smile.

(Bella) okay, I'm going to see if your father burnt the kitchen down.

I faked a laugh.

(Me) ha-ha , good one mom.

I closed the door and locked it but it wouldn't matter. I turned around to see April , hoping to find her still in bed but she got her clothes on and waited for me at the window. Her hair was frizzy than usual. I never seen her in her normal look. Puffy eyes, a little drool on the corner of her soft rose lips, and bed hair. It felt like this well be our life for now on. The sun light hit her right side of her beautiful face, she looked like an Angel.

(April) why are you starring at me, do I have something on me?

April panicked as she touched her face, shirt and pants from yesterday. I couldn't help but chuckle.  I grabbed her arms then kissed her cheek.

(Me) no, no, your perfect.

She smiled and kissed my lips, making me feel sparks.

(April) you're the one that's perfect.

She put my hair behind my ear.

(April) I'll see you at your grandparents house.

I chuckled.

(Me) see you there.

April rushed out the window like she was the wind.

                                                      Downstairs

I seen mom and dad in the kitchen making me a omelet. Mom was flipping it while dad wrapped his hands around her waist.

(Me) good morning.

(Edward) good morning Nessie.

Oh no he called me Nessie.

(Me) what do you want?

Dad gave me my omelet.

(Edward) nothing .

Mom hit dad on the shoulder. I rolled my eyes.

(Me) okay guys, just go ahead and say what you want to say!

Mom and dad looked at each other than looked back at me.

(Bella) its about April.

Not this again.

(Me) what about her?

(Bella) how long have you two been dating?

(Me) a week.

(Bella and Edward) A WEEK!

Moms eyes popped out and dad didn't know what to do. They just stood there, like any vampire that reacts to shocking news.

(Me) I know what you're going to say, but before you do anything I have to tell you two something.

(Edward) we're listening.

(Me) I'm not leaving April alone ever again, I love her and I know we only had two dates but she is my person.

(Bella) you don't even know her.

(Me) yes mom I actually do. Her parents died trying to protect her , she loves music,  nature and her mom taught her how to make every Spanish food in the world. She's half Mexican half Israeli. She knows thirty languages.

(Edward) okay, okay we get it.

(Bella) but we don't know if she's a good person.

(Me) what do you mean by that!?

(Edward) renesmee.

(Bella) for all we know she could be sent to kill us, or by the voltri , maybe even to -

(Edward) Bella.

Rage filled my body as I started to shake.

(Me) just say it mom either way I'm not going to hear it. All you had to do was look at dad and dad looked at you and poof suddenly you fell in love. For the first time in my life I don't feel so......... Alone.

I ran out of the house as quickest as I could. I don't want to see mom or dad  anymore for the rest of the day.
