Second time Around *Severus Snape* Book 1 -completed-

A power couple

-Dianna’s POV-

“And that’s how we’ve managed to sneak out.” As soon as George finished the sentence everybody laughed ,but I wasn’t paying much attention to the conversation,I was mostly toying with my food and thinking about Darlene. I sighed and seriously considering mr. Cunningham to help me out,he was the only person who could get through that thick skull of hers. Unexpectedly I flinched as I felt someone touching my right arm. “ Are you alright  sweety?” Oh,it was only Hermione. “ Yeah, I’m feeling  good, just a bit tired.” I muttred trying not to sound awkward and I smiled, but obviously she didn’t buy it,I mean of course she wouldn’t. I’m not able to hide my feelings even if my life depended on it. “Why the long face ma cherie? Don’t tell me you want to break up with me?” I opened my mouth to reply on Fred’s ridicoulus question but he started to act around like I’ve stabbed him or something “Oh, I knew it was coming! How could you? I gave you my everything,and you threw me like piece of trash! Oh woe as me.” Everybody burst out  at Fred’s theatrical exaggerating but I was on the egde of crying.I know, he is only trying to make me feel better,but I’m too emotional these days. “I’m sorry Fried I-” “Relax Dianne,He’s only joking.” Explained George. “Don’t be so tense,I’m just trying to cheer you up darling.” Fred interjected while grabbing my hand and kissing it softly. “Um,I know,um.” I almost whispered shyly while trying to smile. Fred is really the most amazing guy I’ve ever been with..er…Well technically we ARE together,since he asked me out and I said yes,but whenever he pulled me a bit closer than my comfort zone, I always make an excuse and run away…I’m a mess I know. “Baby girl,you’re late as usual.” I heard mr. Cunningham talk and I froze up as everybody turned to Dee.  Her heels were heard through the hall as she approached sophisticatedly in the direction of the teacher’s dinning tabble. I wouldn’t have had turned around if Fred didn’t push me,yet,  there she was, smirking without a care in the world,but oddly she was re-applying her lipstick,she rarely re-touches her make up,unless she’s been making out with someone. Merlin knows what she’s been doing lately.I heard from the younger students that she’s been more scary than usual and it was my fault. I really had disappointed her although it wasn’t my mistake exactly. “Oh goody,it’s allowed to smoke here.” She melodiously responsed as she sat down next to Christopher. I couldn’t help but notice the way everybody glance at those two,they really seem like a perfect  power  couple,but I knew Dee would never see him in a romantic way, even though both she and I knew how much she means to Cunnigham.

-Darlene’s POV-

“Wow,it only took you one hour and thirty four minutes to come here,this must be a new record for you babe.” The idiot supposed cynically. I only raised my brow and laughed sarcastically at his mockery. “ What a pleasant surprise you’d joined us Darlene,I honestly expected you’d skip the dinner as you usually do.” Said Dumbledore. “Au contraire professor,I would never skip this joyful reunion with my pedo-bear over here.” I answered sweetly while  kissing Chris’ cheek. “Isn’t she charming?” I only smirked at Chris’ response while Minerva seemed rather stunned at our relationship,but she tried to maintain herself while Albus only chuckled and watched us amusingly. Since I wasn’t that much hungry ,I  mostly drank wine while having an pointless  discussion with the headmaster,the professors and my knucklehead. About  twenty minutes later Chris and I agreed  to run off  to my office to catch on. As soon as we wished goodnight to the staff,we swiftly  started heading for my office and at the same time we both laughed since we knew precisely how much it was bothersome for the both of us to act around  the politeness. All of a sudden,Chris had stopped me and pointed at Dianna who was shaking uncontrollably and I knew he wanted us to make up. “Not now,I have more important business mr. Minister,let us not waste our time.” I retort bitterly. At that moment,I sensed Weasley boys,Potter’s and Granger’s glare toward me. “Darlene.” “Alright I give up.” I muttered defetedly while approaching munchkin and kissing her cheek. “There,don’t be so gloomy sweetheart,I forgive you,now lets get moving Chris.” He smiled and nodded knowing I’ll actually talk with her later. “Dee w-wait. Can we talk later?” pumpkin asked rather desperately. “Of course honey,now don’t feel bad anymore we’ll talk tomorrow,okay?” I said cooly and as she saw my expression,she knew I meant truthfully. “O-okay,goodnight Dee,I love you.” I smiled and hugged her while whispering goodnight as well.

Not long after that we entered  my room. “Nice place you got there.” He grined while grabbing me by the waist from behind and started kissing my neck gently. “Chris.” I mummbled while trying to hold a moan. Damn,that boy sure knows my weak spot and I frowned. Severus came through my mind and I quickly spinned aroud while facing my maniac. I raised my eyebrow while looking at his blue-gey eyes. “Want a drink?” I asked sounding causal. He smirked “I thought you’d never ask.”

-Severus’ POV-
Damn that wretched girl! She will be the death of me I scowled as I punched my desk hard. I could not focus anymore properly because of her,yet I had a bundle of tests to grade.

***Flashback  about three hours ago***

I could not bare to look at her teary eyes,I never liked her seeing  fragile,so I cupped her chin slowly and kissed her.I must admit,I was never able to resist her no matter the circumstances. Not long after,she kissed me back tenderly and our passion took on as she pulled me closer. All the pain,hatred and love we shared for another was out in the open with just one thrilling moment. “S-severus,I can’t.” she muttered as she parted away from my lips. Suddenly she looked deeply into my eyes and caressed my face ever so compassionately  while continuing “I hate you Severus…You make me weak.” As soon as her words reached through me I got furious again. How dare she seduce me,make me fall for her,break up with me AND THEN blame ME for this?! Wrath overwhelmed me and pinned her by the wall once again. “YOU… discourteous little slut! DO YOU CONSIDER ME YOUR DOG WHOM YOU CAN PULL  AROUND WHENEVER YOUR TWISTED SEXUAL DEVIANCY  OCCURS? I AM SICKENED BY THIS WHOLE CHARADE CALLED OUR RELATIONSHIP,YOU-” I stopped talking as the sharp pain pierced through my lower abdomen.As I crumbled I realised that she kicked me with her knee,unexpectedly she grabbed my shoulders and forcefully badged me onto the wall as I hissed in pain. I was completely thunderstruck at her might,I never knew she was that strong,even for a man. “Sev,look at me.” She whispered surprisingly softly. I winced,but slowly I looked at her but I did not spoke a word. I was still taken aback by the previous incident. “ You are right…I am selfish,twisted,deviant,mannipulative,unmanageable and so on. But you got one thing wrong. I never considered you as part of my experiment. As you may know,I almost never dated a guy in my life,it was simply not my thing,hence if someone had told me that I would fall for one I would have used Cruciatus curse on them. The only guy I have ever been with,other than you is Chris,the American Miinister  you met.” My eyes widen,nevertheless I let her continue the  story. “However I only used him to lose my innocence,since..Well,you know,it’s less painful with a guy,or so I thought when I was younger,but it’s actually more or less the same just depends on the technique. Anyway,after I dumped him,we sustained our friendship,but I never felt any attraction for him,and you saw him Sev,he is gorgeous,but he’s a GUY.” Darlene paused for a moment before going on. Seems like she never opened up this much to anyone. “I’ve  lost track on how many girls I’ve been with,but you’re the second person I fell in love with and I’m still in love with you,but I’ve been burned so badly that I’m pretty much scared of  mentionig it.” “Darlene.” I cut in. She loosen her grip and looked at me deeply. “If you don’t feel comfortable on the subject of the matter,I won’t force you to speak about it .” As soon as I completed my sentence she gave me a quick peck on the lips and apparated herself away ,leaving me behind quite astonished,perplexed and miserable.

“That foolish girl.” I murmured to myself. It’s simply hard to believe that a young  girl such has herself has that much obscurity within her. If she treats me,the person she claims to be in love with,the way she does, who knows how she treats somebody who doesn’t matter to her. As I collected  myself,I slowly continued to  mark the tests…
