Everyone cheered and applauded as Jesse replaced Gabriel at the front of the stage. "Thank you!," he said. "Thank you, everyone. I know you think I'm up here because I saved the world or something. But the truth is, I didn't do it alone. Far from it. You see, I had my friends with me. There was Olivia...Axel...Petra...Lukas...Alex. They stood by my side, right from the start. Well...and they made fun of me, when I deserved it. But that's just how we are." "Dang right we are!," yelled Axel, causing most of the audience to laugh.

"It's crazy to think my friends and I started out in a treehouse," Jesse continued, "and now we've been to some of the weirdest places in the world. I mean come on...we went to the Far Lands! There was this gigantic wall, and a huuuuge maze, and a model of the Ender Dragon that...well, you just had to be there. But when all was said and done...you know what REALLY mattered? My hero, Reuben the pig." He pointed at Reuben's monument.

"He may have seemed like just a pig to most people...but he was so much more. And at the end of the day, he saved us all. FOR REUBEN!!" Everyone cheered and pumped their arms into the air. Magnus walked onto the stage, holding a purple nether star. "Jesse...this is the Nether Star that dropped when the Wither Storm was destroyed. You wanna do the honors?" Jesse nodded and took the nether star, then walked to five beacons that resembled the amulet. He placed the star on the middle one, causing all five of the beacons to send beams of colored light into the sky, each one matching the color scheme of the Order of the Stone.

"My friends," announced Gabriel, holding up the actual amulet. "I am now pleased to introduce to you..." He gave the amulet to Jesse, who gladly took it. "...the new Order of the Stone!" Everyone cheered as the new Order jumped in celebration. After it was all over, the town square was completely empty, leaving Alex all alone. She walked to Reuben's monument and sat down, wondering how so much has changed in the span of a few weeks.

"Hey Alex," said Jesse, walking up to her and sitting next to her. He kissed her on the cheek, causing her to giggle. "Hey Jesse," she said. There was a moment of silence between them. "You know, I just realized something," Alex said, causing Jesse to look at her curiously. "Before this whole thing happened, I talked to Billy nearly every day. But now, it's been over a week since I even took him out of my pocket." She took him out and held him in her palm.

"Maybe it's because you have real friends now," said Jesse. "Friends who love you just the way you are." "Yeah, maybe," she mumbled. Suddenly, she had an idea. She stood up and placed the dirt block right next to the monument. "There," she said. "Now if Reuben were to get lonely, he would have someone to keep him company." Jesse gave an approving smile.

"Hi Alexandra," said a shy voice from behind them. Alex stiffened, recognizing that voice. The two of them turned around and saw... "Annie?," Alex said. Jesse, remembering how badly she used to treat her, quickly stood in front of her, blocking her from Annie's sight. "What do you want?," he asked in a hostile manner. Annie raised her hands in surrender.

"Chill, Jesse," she said. "I just want to talk with Alex. Alone." Jesse was about to retort when Alex touched his shoulder and gave him an everything-will-be-okay smile. He hesitated, then turned around and kissed her. "If she hurts you, don't hesitate to call for help," he said before glaring at Annie one last time and walking away, leaving the two alone.

Alex walked up to Annie. "Hey Annie," she said nervously. "What do you want to talk about?" Annie looked down, as if she wasn't sure what to say. Finally, she said, "Alex, I am so sorry for ditching you and your friends while you were being sucked into that tractor beam. Can you forgive me?" Alex blinked. "Um, sure. I forgive you," she said. "But why the change of heart? I thought you hated me." Annie shook her head. "Actually, I don't," she said.

Alex tilted her head in confusion. Annie sighed. "Alex...the reason why I treated you so badly was because of Thomas. You might not know it, but he abused me just as badly as he did to you. I guess some of that nastiness rubbed off on me. And when I started hurting you, Thomas started beating me less and less, so I didn't stop, even though I felt so sick at what I was doing. Even though I could never make up for all that abuse I put you through, I hope you would forgive me and we could still be friends." Alex smiled. "Of course we can be friends."

Then, she frowned. "But what about Thomas?," she asked. "I broke up with him," said Annie. "It was pretty bad. He went completely psycho on me and gave me the worst beating I've ever received. He also threatened to kill me on several occasions. But eventually, he left me alone. I haven't heard from him in a while." "So what are you going to do now?," Alex asked.

Annie shrugged. "I don't know, to be honest," she said. "Maybe I'll head to this new city that's being built, the one that's called Champion City. I could start a new life there and put my past behind me. I guess only time will tell." "Then I wish you luck," Alex said.

Annie smiled. "Thanks," she said. "Well, bye." Alex waited until she walked out of sight and continued admiring Reuben's monument. "Hey, kiddo," said a voice. "Hope you didn't forget me already." Alex shrieked and looked around, but there was no one there. "I'm in your head, genius," said the voice. "Wait a minute," she said. "...Kevin?!"

"So you didn't forget me! Good to hear! By the way, you got a minute?"

After that, the screen went dark as numerous people clapped and cheered after they finished watching the early viewing of Pain and Healing. All the lights in the theater turned back on and the announcer, a handsome man with white hair and a black suit, strode onto the stage, causing the audience to cheer even louder. "Please, people, please," the announcer chuckled. "I'm afraid that if I hear any more people cheering my name, I won't be able to exit through the back door due to how big my head would grow." The entire audience laughed at the corny joke as the announcer smiled and bowed. "Anyway, WHAT a movie that was, ladies and gentlemen," he continued. "Let me tell you, Pain and Healing is a very fitting title for this film. I think I almost shed a tear on a few occasions. That last scene where Reuben fell to his death was really like a punch to the gut. We're all gonna miss that little pig." He paused to wipe an imaginary tear from his eye. "Anyway, here's the director who made this all possible!," he continued. "It's the man who brought you Jurassic Park and Justice League - heh, the good one, that is! Give it up for Stevack Snyberg, everybody!" The audience cheered again as a waving Stevack Snyberg walked onto the stage and accepted the microphone from the announcer.

"Thank you, thank you!," Stevack said happily. "Really, you're all too kind. Anyway, mere words cannot describe how glad I am that you all enjoyed my newest movie, Pain and Healing. Of course, I never would have turned up such a wonderful product without some of the greatest actors and actresses that the world has ever seen!" A giant spotlight shone from the ceiling and landed on the entire cast, who had been sitting amongst the audience members during the entire screening. "If you ask me, they're the ones who REALLY made this movie possible!," Stevack continued. "Come on, guys! Don't be shy!" The entire cast stood up under the spotlight as the entire theater roared with applause. "And here is the main star herself, Alexandra Hamilton!," Stevack announced. The applause grew even louder as Alex remained standing while the rest of the cast sat back down. Eventually, the audience quieted down.

"Thank you," said Alex in a loud, clear voice. "It was an honor to star in this movie. But I couldn't have done it alone." Suddenly, she grabbed Petra and Jesse by their hands and pulled them to their feet. "These two are the real stars, not me. They carried this film just as much as I did, if not moreso. I have no doubt that they'll become the greatest actors the world has ever seen!" Once again, the entire crowd clapped and cheered as Alex, Petra, and Jesse hugged each other tightly, not caring what other people thought of them. In the audience, Peeta Mellark was cheering the loudest. Onstage, Stevack couldn't help but frown. This...wasn't how they rehearsed the speech. But the audience seemed to be eating it up, so who was he to complain? Hmmm...I wonder how they'd feel about a sequel? Yeah, I think I'm onto something here! We could have something even crazier than the Wither Storm, like...like a castle floating in the sky. Ooh, or maybe a murder mystery! With some sci-fi blended into the mix! And hey, since Petra's brother starred in the Hunger Games, why not add a little homage to that...?
