Broken
A shattered picture of what once was beautiful
What once had hope
She now sees pain that is unavoidable

Blaming everything on her own supposed stupidity
She is riddled with timidity

What is right
What is wrong
How couldn't she see it all along

The voices tell her
It's you
It's you
You are wrong
You are stupid
You don't belong

And she listens

The endless thoughts in her head come along
She is barely holding on

And she listens

Because nobody knows
What is happening
Because she doesn't show

What is happening?

Instead
She puts together the broken picture
Paints a smile on her delicate face
But it is not a fixture
So it fades
Until she is again
Broken
