Elements of Sombra

Chapter 11

 Sombra was in a gas station where he saw a man holding a baby which was looking at the sweets

"Amber no" the man said  when he caught the baby taking one. The baby was about to cry when he put a dummy in her mouth. Just then Sombra saw a lady walk in with a little girl who was giggling

"Look mommy a baby" she pointed out

"Emma stop pointing that's rude" the women smiled at the man "Sorry about my daughter, she asks a lot of questions a little to much nowadays"

"Now that's alright I'm sure my little Amber will as too"

The man tickled Ambers tummy making her giggled. The woman smiled at that

"Mommy I want sweets" whinnied little Emma

"Alright , alright" The woman smiled "Nice meeting you"

"Like wise"

Both parents smiled but the happy moment shifted when outside was car crash Sombra saw that it was Ethan's car but he looked to see five men coming this way shoot the store. At slow motion Sombra saw both parents try to protect there kids but baby Amber got shoot in the heart and one in her leg, back then at her heart.

When the shooting stopped both parents cried their hearts out for their girls. Sombra saw the red blast making both parents fly away from their kids. In a matter of seconds the Green gem span taking all the bullets out of Emma and  the orange gem slowly took the bullet out of Amber then they stilled.

First the green the the orange slowly got in their heart which made both of them wake up. Emma picked up crying Amber as the parents came hugging their daughters

"Their alive" said Emma's mom

"Thank you " repeated Amber's dad 

Sombra smiled that they were okay which lead to him to have them slowly fade away and  for him to wake up back in his home. 

"Sombra!" cried Amber and she quickly ran to him when he stood hugging him "I'm so sorry" Sombra wrapped his arms around her hugging her tight

"Sweetie it's alright, I'm fine so stop crying okay?" She nodded but still held him tight.

Later that day in the evening everyone having dinner eating while Amber just stared at the food. Harry appeared beside Lex.

"You know" Lex looked at Harry who wasn't talking but talked in his mind "You should comfort Miss Amber"

"Me?"

"A mind reader as yourself should help her since Liam and Zoe took a romantic stroll"

"Stroll?"

"Walk sir"

They looked at Amber who stood.

"I'm not hungry" she said then walked to her room. Once she left Sombra sighed.

"Lex you should go take to talk to her I'm tired"

"Yeah I will"

Lex stood walking to her room then knocked. Amber opened to see Lex smiling at her.

"Hey can we talk"

"Sure"

She let him in and Amber sat on her bed which he sat next to her.

"Tell me what's wrong?"

"I lost control and I almost hurt everyone"

"But you didn't"

"But I almost of Sombra never helped me then who knows what could of happened, Lex"

"But it didn't happen"

"But it almost and that is why I don't want to use my powers anymore"

"What?"

"You heard me"

"Amber it's okay to be afraid, I was scared too and without Harry's help then I think I would be losing it right now but now these voices in my head are just helping me"

"How?"

"I listen and Harry showed me that" Their shadows flew to the scaring Amber yet he had her slowly lift her hand "It's okay they won't bite"

The shadow surrounded her hand then left going away.

"They felt cold"

"Yeah but they need warmth they need me to help them just like I need them"

"How does that involve me?"

"Because you need your power as much as it needs you"

Lex hugged her and she cuddle into his touch. She looked behind to see his wings. She smiled and closed her eyes  taking a deep breath.

"Ah Amber"

"Yeah?"

"Don't you feel something different about you?"

"No why?"

Lex helped her stand then he slowly walked her over to the mirror for her to see her bull horns and orange angel wings. Amber looked at herself then at Lex who still had his wings out. She turned straing up at him.

"What?" he asked

"Nothing"

In that moment her mind showed pitures of bird flying around going around them yet his shadows came twirlng around her birds. They both looked at their cretions playing around although a dark force was outside. A person felt their energy so with a simple click of their fingers both their cretions inside the room started screaming and faded away.

They both stopped and looked around but due to their creations disappearing the hooded figure clicked thier fingers earing them both to go on their knees and scream. Sombra came into the room and the force outside stopped making the two finally take a breath.

"Are you two okay?"

"I think so" said Lex

"Pain" said Amber "All I could feel is pain"

Lex looked at Sombra who walked over to Amber.

"Amber sweetie you okay?"

"Yeah I just a bit drained"

"Let go down and eat okay?"

"Yeah"

Just then they heard a scream and all three came down to see Ethan and Emma on the ground while Lisa was attacking a hooded figure.

Lisa tried hitting the figure with throwing knifes yet the hood figure made a purple whip to all knives and throw them back, Sombra moved Lisa away.

"You okay?"

"Yeah"

Sombra got hit behind his back. He looked back to see the figure leaving. Which he took three knives out of his back and looked around while standing up.

"Are all of already?" They all nodded

"Do you think that person was one of us?" asked Ethan

"No"

"Then what are they?" asked Emma

"I don't know but you have to be careful something about whatever that things is tell me we haven't seen the last of them"
