Chapter 25

"You promised!"

"I'm sorry, I'll fix it"

"I'm done with you" then Lisa left and that was the last time Jordan heard from her ever again. 

He gasped and looked around seeing he was still on the ship in his room, he sighed his been having the same dream for a week now. His nightmare still haunting him. He scrached the back of his head and then rubbed his face

"Don't say it in the last minute make it up to them Especially to Lucas dear, You don't want him to end up like Julie now do you?"

He sighed remembering Raven's words just made it worse. He then looked at his crown

"Maybe I can't be what you want me to be?" A snake appeared and he  smiled then looked up to see Raven "What if this was a mistake, Rea ? What if I was suppose to die that day? What if It choose the wrong person? Maybe it was meant for my brother and not me?"

"Darling I was just like you once ruiling the vampie kingdom all for myself, taking lives like no other" She sighed "Then I got pushed into the rivers of hell and now I became a ruler of the reptile world. At that time I wanted to hurt a certain demon but when he said i should think about Shanell that made me think of her. I loved her and I did everything to make her happy"

"What happened?"

"I died and the last thing I saw was my beautiful wife beside me. I didn't care what happed but at that moment when I looked at those big blue eyes of her and think of all the adventures we've through. It just made me die happy"

"Wife?"

"Yea Wife, Jordan dear" He smiled "Go talk with Sombra I'm sure he'll give you advise"

"He hates me"

"That man hates everything"

"Exactly"

"But dear I know that Vanessa has given him s life he never thought it would have come true, so darling go ask the man"

"I don't know Rea"

"I may have a pussy but your being one"

"Very funny"

"Go talk with him dear"

"Fine" He put the crown down then got out of bed and out his room to the library where he knocked. The door opened and Sombra was surprised to see Jordan.

"It's late, what are you doing up so late?"

"Can we talk?" He frowned 

"What did you do?"

"Nothing ... I just want to talk"

"Close the door when you come in" He walked in and Jordan did as told before going to sit in front of him "So what did you want to talk about?"

"I've uhm been having this nightmare about Lisa leaving me and it was my fault and uhm " He looked down "About me killing myself, Im sure you know that one"

"The day you killed yourself?"

"Yeah that one"

"I know it, saw it" He looked up "Much like how I saw all the others minus Lucas but that's besides the point. What's been on your mind than the nightmare?"

"I don't think I deserve the gem"

"Why?"

"Because it's me" Sombra leaned back in the chair confused

"What's wrong with that?"

"I think it choose the wrong person"

"I think not"

"I'm a bad person, Sombra"

"And you think I'm not?"

"No"

"Jordan before I had a life with Vanessa I didn't care about anyone other than myself, I killed for a living, I grow my power in letting every creature I faced beg for my mercy and I still Didn't care"

"I also didn't care about things" He sighed "When I first met Lisa she was amazing at everything and I liked that about her but then she got pregnant" He looked down, facing his lap as tears started going down his face "When she went into labor things went down hill and when the doctors finally got the baby it was already too late. Our baby dead" He sniffed and whipped his tears away "We wanted to name her Julie and the night we had that fight was the day our baby girl would've been two" Tears came faster and he tried being tough by whipping them away but they kept coming "So when she left I just couldn't take anymore" 

Sombra sat beside him and it shocked him when Sombra hugged him. Which only made him cry on his shoulder " I - want - TO DIE"

"Don't say that"

"I-do" he cried on his shoulder "I - don't- de- serve- the gem"

"Yes you do. Jordan It choose you for a reason I do believe in second chances" this time Jordan faced him "Look you've made mistakes in the past I get and believe me when I say that, that gem knows you can do better. It's given out that opportunity for a second chance to so don't regret it alright?" He nodded  "I also think you need to have a sit down with Lisa and finally talk about that day"

"What if she doesn't want to?"

"Be patient and wait till she's ready, okay?"

"Okay" Jordan placed his head on Sombra's shoulder while he comforted him and let him cool down a bit. There was silence and Sombra wondered if he was asleep or his just thinking "Thank you" He smiled

"No problem" Jordan whipped his last tears and finally got off Sombra and looked at him

"You won't snitch will you?"

"On what Jordan cried in my arms last night?"

"I was having a moment"

"Every creator, human and  others have moments"

"You won't" 

"No I won't" he nodded then stood

"I'm going to bed"

"Alright"

"And uhm sorry about the shirt"

"I think every time I wear blue on of you pests some and cry on my shoulder, so it's fine"

"Okay ... night"

"Night, Jordan"

And with that being said he left still stunned but Sombra just shock his head

"Another shirt ruined" He smiled then carried on reading while back in his room Jordan looked back at his crown 

"Maybe is right"

"He is dear" He smiled and looked at Raven who was already grinning "So you had a heart to heart with dad"

"Ew no his not even my dad"

"In a way dear he is"

"Yeah beacuse of gem and him saving my life, yeah, yeah, yeah ... Wait he ... In a way saved my life and gave me a second chance, right"

"In a way yes dear" He looked back at the crown "He gave them all a chance too"

"Look you've made mistakes in the past I get and believe me when I say that, that gem knows you can do better. It's given out that opportunity for a second chance to so don't regret it alright?" 

He smiled remembering Sombra's words then put the crown down before getting back in the sheet.

"Night dear"

"Night Rea"

And with that he fell asleep having a nice and Peaceful dream with a smile on his face
