Eren POV:
Omg! I cant believe I really fell like that in front of Levi. He probably just thinks I'm pathetic now... Although I did catch him staring at me earlier in class. does he... like me!? No. I cant get my hopes up. Wait, get my hopes up? Ugh, I'll just forget it.
I was watching some YouTube videos when I got a notification on my phone. I paused the video and slipped my phone out of my pocket. It was from Levi!
Levi: Oi, brat, we doing the science project or not? -read 4:17PM
You: yeah!! -read 4:17PM
Levi: k then, your place?? -read 4:18PM
You: sure.. :) -read 4:18PM
Levi: send your address then and ill be there by 5. -read 4:18PM
I sent him my address and put my phone on my desk. I couldn't help feeling happy, because although Levi doesn't seem like the friendly type of person, he's still doing the science project with me, so maybe ill get the chance to make a friend! With that spirit I started tiding my room a little and brainstorming ideas for the science assignment.
Levi POV:
Goddammit Hanji. Why did that have to be your answer, I was asking a simple question. I looked at the texts for the billionth time.
You: four eyes I'm getting this weird feeling whenever I'm around the new transfer kid, I cant really explain it, I kind of feel nervous but confident at the same time, and my head starts spinning a little whenever he smiles or talks to me... -read 2:01PM
four eyes: is he handsome? -read 2:01PM
You: huh? what kind of question is that?? -read 2:01PM
four eyes: just answer!! -read 2:01PM
You: well, yeah, I guess he is pretty handsome... -read 2:01PM
four eyes: OMG LEVI, YOU HAVE A CRUSH ON THIS GUY!!! -read 2:02PM
You: WHAT!?! NO I DONT YOU DUMB FOUR EYES!! -sent 2:02PM
Goddammit goddammit goddammit. Now I cant stop thinking about this! I do not like that brat! Heck I barely know him. I was probably just nervous being around someone new.
I noticed I was already quarter to 5 so I got into my car and drove towards the address Eren sent me. I didn't realize it was so close, just a 10 minute walk from my place. Since I was early I scrolled through my messages before getting out of the car a few minutes later. He lived in a fairly nice place, but also pretty small, I doubt he lived with anyone, and I couldn't see any signs of a relative or girlfriend living here. Just like me.
I knocked on the door. I heard footsteps and then the door opened to a smiling Eren. shit, there was that feeling again. I guess I really do like the brat. I sighed mentally. "Lets go do the thing, brat." I said. My heart skipped a beat when he chuckled but I ignored it. We talked a little and did the project, and even though I wasn't trying too hard we finished the project within three hours.
I didn't really want to leave, so I tried to talk to Eren while we sat on his bed having finished working. I got to know some things about him, like that his dad had left him and his mom had died when he was quite young, that he lived alone, and that he didn't have a girlfriend. Pretty obvious stuff that I easily guessed before that, but unlike most people I somehow felt safe and happy talking to Eren, so I just listened and went along with it.
"Oh wow its pretty late, want to stay for dinner Levi?" he said.
"Sure." I replied. "What do you have?
"Uhmm, I can, lets see... I can make us some omelets, is that okay with you?" He said with his beautiful voice. Gosh, how I wanted to hear it more!
"Fine with me." I said. We started to walk downstairs.
