**Authors Note**
So every chapter in this story is based on a series if consecutive dreams I have been having. Therefore, you can think of every chapter in this book as like a different episode of a tv show :)

I woke up and moaned as the feelings coming back to my body went from a light tingle, to pain and soreness. I forced myself to turn my head to look at the clock.
2:34 P.M.
Crap.
I jumped out of my lovely bed and grabbed the first pair of shorts I saw. I sighed when I revealed a five-inch beautiful purple bruise on my left leg, along with a matching three-inch on my right.
It's been worse...
Feeling slightly self-cautious, I switched to a pair of loose jeans and a large solid blue v-neck. After a few stretches, I made my way to the kitchen for some food.
I went straight to the refrigerator, pulling out ingredients to make a sandwich.
"Did you clean the dishes?" Emily asked in the connecting living room. I glanced to see she was in some yoga position where her left leg was behind her head. Emily was one of my two roommates. We got along most of the time.
"I was planning on doing them last night, before our little distraction." I replied while creating my favorite lunch: a turkey sandwich with American cheese, caesar dressing and pickles.
Emily opened her eyes for a moment but closed them has soon as she saw my meal. Her calm face transformed into a look of disgust. "You are so strange."
"Right, I'm odd because of my sandwich." I replied sarcastically "Where's Sarah at?"
"Sarah had the morning shift at work." Emily replied while switching positions. She was now in a vertical spilt.
"Right, at the new coffee place." I forgot she got hired at that place. Not that I didn't think she could make coffee, but Sarah was a very casual down to Earth girl. This coffee place was fancy for people who wanted to spend $12 every morning for a latte.
While in a train of thought, I took a bite of my sandwich. I smiled in satisfaction before the doorbell rang, ruining my moment with my food.
"Did Sarah forget her key again?" I asked before taking another bite.
"Doubt it." Emily replied while doing a handstand.
I opened the door to be surprised by a girl, about my age. She seemed nervous about something and was playing with her fingers. She looked like she was about to sprint in the other direction.
"Can I help you?" I asked after standing in silence for a minute.
"Um, hi, my name is Judy and someone told me that you could help me with something but I'm not supposed to say who told me to come to you because...."
I cut her off and raised my eyebrow in confusion.
"Wait I'm supposed to help you with something?"
"Well, you do not have to help me. I can go somewhere else to learn its just I..."
It then clicked to me.
"O, you must be one of my new students! Sorry about that, usually the students that I tutor call me before they make a home visit. What do you need? S.A.T help? Biology help? Algebra? Spanish?"
"Actually, I don't need help with academics." Judy replied, as her face began getting redder. "I need help with something different but I don't know how to explain it if you are not the people I am looking for."
I stood for a moment of puzzlement, until Emily ran next to me with wide eyes. I followed to where she was looking and made a small gasp as I watched Judy's hand and then arm slowly disappear.
"Get in before somebody sees you." Emily said in a serious voice before grabbing Judy's visible hand and pulling her inside.
It took me a second to understand what was going on before I smirked and turned around to join the now sitting Judy and Emily.
~Sarahs POV~
Obnoxious, impatient, rich people. This was only my third day on the job and I'm already put up with those snobs. I love making coffee, but I have never wanted to spit in so many drinks in my life. Luckily for me the pay is good and I make good tips.
I continued my rant to myself while I pulled out my bright green key from my pocket. I put the key in the doorknob only to realize that the door was unlocked.
That was unusual.
I walked inside to see Lauren greet me with a giant fake smile on. What did she want? I scanned the room for clues to see a slightly stressed Emily sitting next to a stranger. She stood up.
"What do you think about us filling that extra room we have with another roommate?"
*Laurens POV*
I watched as Sarah's face go from an already unhappy, stressed face to a "you are clinically insane" face.
"Can I talk to you two in private?" She said through her clenched teeth. I could see her hair slowly getting redder. That's not good...
"Of course," Emily said "Excuse us Judy."
Sarah took us to her bedroom down the hall and slammed the door.
"Are you serious?! I can't hide my identity all day AND all night!" What's she going to do when she sees us rolling out at two in the morning in our costumes?!"
Emily tried to interrupt her, but Sarah wouldn't let her. I knew better then to stop Sarah went she was in the middle of venting.
"What is this new roommate going to think when she sees me start the grill with my eyes, or sees you attempting to practice with a bowl of water, or sees Lauren making it snow in the bathroom again just because she's bored!"
"She has abilities." Emily finally cut in.
Sarah paused and looked at me. I felt like a bobble head with my severe nodding in agreement with Emily.
"O...I didn't realize there were any more freaks around here." Sarah said
"Yep and she sucks at controlling it." I added on
"So you guys think we should bring her in and try to teach her or something?" Sarah asked
"She could be like our intern." I suggested, with a smile
"It would be irresponsible for us not to take her in." Emily added on.
"Ok then." Sarah opened up the door and walked to the living room. "Welcome to the team..wait." She turned back around. "Where did she go?"
Emily and I glanced at each other before hearing Judy's voice at the place we left her.
"Sorry!"
