"You said that the security measures are lacking in comparison to here but that means you believe KID is waiting until the sapphire is moved to the stadium, correct?" Kaito asks as we both near Leon Lowe.

"Precisely. It would be far too risky for him to come after it here."

"It sure would be. So while we can't do much, please allow us to assist with guarding the jewel." Kaito says and we both put our hands in front of Leon Lowe for a handshake.

"Oh, thank you." He says and accepts our handshakes.

《[Y/N]'s POV》

"Ahh... I'm glad I came here..." I say relaxing in the water of a hot tub on the roof of Marina bay sands. I'm wearing my new swimsuit that I bought recently. It's a [F/C] one piece with a V-neck but isn't exposing too much of my chest. It has a slit in the back making my back completaly bare.

"I wonder when Kaito's going to join me..."

"You miss me already, Love?" Kaito asks sliding into the tub next to me without his disguise as Kudo Shin'ichi.

"Kaito! What took you so long?" I ask whining.

"I had to entertain people. It's my job after all. Plus I told Meitantei the real reason why we brought him here."

"I see...I hope you didn't do anything with Ran..." I say the last sentence quietly.

"Are you jealous? Even after you left me such a message?" He asks now next to my ear with his left hand on my thigh. I could feel his hot breath on my neck and that caused me to shiver.

"W-What are you talking about? What message?"

"Don't play innocent, Love."

"How could I not? If I d-don't know a thing you're talking about."

"But you do know what's going on. And in this situation..." He makes a short gap between his words.

"...You shouldn't lie..." He says and bites my ear lobe making me let out a little yelp.

"K-K-Kaito...! W-Wh-at are you d-d-doing!?" He just laughs and retrieves his left hand back putting his right on my waist and bringing my body closer to his. He kisses me on the cheek, the soft sensation making my cheeks go even more red.

"Okay, okay I'll quit teasing you, Love."

"Kaito... You always have to do things like this... Making me fall for you all over again...!" I say blushing and avoiding his gaze.

"Yeah? To tell you the truth you do the same to me. Plus it was Ran who did something to me." At his reply my head immediately turns to look back at him, right into his eyes.

"W-Wha?! She...! What did she do?!"

"Nothing, nothing. Just touched my hand."

"Oh, sorry. And I've been meaning to ask... Why is your hair wet? You didn't dip your head into the water did you?"

"Oh... that's right... Leon Lowe tried to drown me in the safe."

"Ehh‼ Are you alright?! You didn't swallow any water, did you?!" I ask very worried with both of my hands cupping his face.

"I did, but only a little bit, no need to worry."

"Why of course I'll worry! I don't want you to get hurt. Is your throat alright?"
