"Well... You know how Sonoko can't meet up with Kyogoku-san a lot, right?"
"Yeah, what about it?" I ask not sure what she's trying to tell me.
"So please, let them have some time alone! Please!" She says clapping her hands together and getting way too close to my face.
"O-Okay. I get it, I get it. I'll do it. Just... please back up a bit." I say putting my hands in from of myself.
"Really!? Yatta!" She says and hugs me tightly.
"Ran! Calm down!" She peels off of me and giggles with a beaming aura around her.
"Let's do it tomorrow, 'kay?"
"A-Aa." I reply and head to the bathroom.
"I'm going to take a shower. You can go ahead and sleep." I say looking at her as she nods her head frantically."Well... You know how Sonoko can't meet up with Kyogoku-san a lot, right?"
"Yeah, what about it?" I ask not sure what she's trying to tell me.

《[Y/N]'s POV》
We're currently sitting in the stadium where the tournament was being held. Since Kyogoku Makoto's match hasn't started yet we focused our attention to Hezli Jamaluddin. As expected he defeated his opponent with speed, technique and power.
"That was so fast! This Jamaluddin guy seems ridiculously strong." Sonoko comments sitting to my left.
"He has both speed and technique combined with heavyweight-class power. He seems to be quite a formidable foe." Ran who's sitting in between Sonoko and 'Shin'ichi' comments.
"I expected as much from the captain of the Teitan High karate club. You notice things that most people wouldn't." Sonoko comments as I take my eyes away from the fight to retort but stop to a halt when I notice the shrunken detective and the phantom thief whispering to each other.
"What are the two of them whispering to each other?" I murmur under my nose crossing my arms and turning my attention back to the fight.
"What was that [Y/N]?" I flinch when I hear Sonoko ask.
"Nothing, nothing. A-Anyway, Kyogoku-san showed up!" I say hoping to change the subject.
"Ah, it's true, Makoto-san's here!! Come on! You all cheer him on, too! Wait, why'd you bring the twerp here with you?"
"He's gotten pretty attached to me, for some reason." 'Shin'ichi' replies.
As usual opponents have to bow to each other before they start the match and immediately when the match starts Kyogoku Makoto's opponent flies to the other corner of the arena.
"That's just scary..." The disguised phantom thief comments as Sonoko starts cheering Kyogoku-san on.
Right after Kyogoku-san's match ends Ran gets a call from her father.
