Chapter 4

Sidharth woke up feeling hot all over, wondering if his AC had stopped working all of a sudden. When he slightly opened his eyes, he understood why he was feeling hot all over. Shehnaaz had somehow transported from his side to on top of him so that she was fully lying on him. Sidharth smiled at her before placing a kiss on her forehead and trying to get her off him. Shehnaaz whined lightly in her sleep before holding onto him even tighter refusing to budge. " Yaar baby mujhe garmi lag rahi hai, thoda side hoja mera bacha." Exclaimed sidharth to which shehnaaz finally conceded and snuggled to his side.

Sidharth put one arm around her waist letting her snuggle into him while he used the other to scroll through his phone checking his messages and social media. He smiled at some of the fan edits of him and Sana, liking them so that he could show them to her later. After half an hour of lounging in bed, Sidharth craved his morning tea. He slowly detached himself from shehnaaz and got up from the bed, realizing he still didn't have any clothes on he pulled on a pair of black sweat pants before making his way to the attached washroom. When he came back from the washroom he saw shehnaaz sitting cross-legged in the middle of the bed with the covers wrapped carelessly around her. She was a sight to behold, her hair was mused from sleeping and she had a cute pout on her face. " Tu kahan chala gaya tha" she asked in mock anger. "Washroom gaya tha, chal na mere liye chai bana de."

" Par main toh guest hu na !!!" she whined at him. " koi guest west nahi hai tu, ab chal." Replied Sidharth going to the edge of the bed, offering her a hand to stand up. She shook her head before saying, " ek sharth pe !" smiling cutely at him. He querked an eyebrow at her, willing her to continue, " tu mujhe kal raath ki tarah utha ke le jayega kitchen tak !" " abbey moti pagal hai kya." Said sidharth while shaking his head. " Please sidharthhh, kal toh tujhe koi problem nahi hui! Bakwas mat kar." Knowing she won't budge Sidharth agreed to her condition, oh ! the things he did for a cup of tea he thought amusedly.

Sidharth made her wear one of his red hoodies that covered her appropriately before picking her up in his arms, prompting her to wrap her legs around his waist and her arms around his bare neck. She cutely giggled at him after getting comfortable in his arms, he couldn't help but smile at her innocence before placing a loving kiss on her forehead prompting her to shyly hide her face in his neck. He supported her weight with one arm ( all those years at the gym were paying off) and reached for his phone with the other.

He started making his way through the hallway while checking messages from his manager, not really looking up since he knew the way by heart anyways. Unbeknown to both of the oblivious love birds, Rita maa, neetu and preeti di were sitting in the living area so that they could surprise Sidharth in the morning and have breakfast with him. Their jaws dropped when they saw Sidharth emerge from his bedroom shirtless while carrying shehnaaz in his arms who was wearing his oversized hoodie. Sidharth smiled at something on his phone before nudging shehnaaz and making her look at his phone. She let out a cute giggle before placing a kiss on his cheek. Before Sidharth could respond to her kiss, he heard a cough. Startled both of them whipped their heads towards the source of the sound to find a blushing Rita maa with neetu and preeti di trying to control their laughter behind her. Shehnaaz let out a startled cry before hiding her face back in Sidharth's neck and Sidharth quickly turned around and ran towards his room letting out a " SORRY! HUM PAACH MINUTE MEIN AATE HAI." Slamming the door behind himself.

Inside the room, shehnaaz quickly pulled on one of Sidharth's loose sweatpants that was entirely too big for her and Sid put on a random t shirt before making their way towards the door. Just as Sidharth was going to open the door, shehnaaz tugged at his t shirt. " Ab sab log mere baare mein kya sochenge." she said her voice wobbly and full of worry. She really wanted to make a good first impression on his family ! Seeing her almost on the verge of tears, sidharth hugged her tightly before saying " Kuch galat nahi sochenge, family hai yeh. Tu tension mat le gadhi." Shehnaaz nodded at him and sidharth went on to open the door and go towards the living room where the three ladies were seated.

When he entered the living room, neetu and preeti di were shocked to see their always indifferent and sarcastic brother shying away from them and mumbling a good morning to them. Before they could tease him about this and ask where shehnaaz is, their mother beat them to it. " Good morning beta. Sorry hum log bina bateye aah gaye. Shehnaaz kahan hai ?" Sidharth sheepishly looked behind himself and only then did everyone notice how shehnaaz had completely hid herself behind Sidharth and at Rita maa's question she slightly poked her head out from behind Sidharth's broad frame and shyly looked at them before saying " main yaha hu."  The whole Shukla family couldn't help but coo at her adorableness making her blush even harder and hide herself behind Sidharth again. Wanting her and sidharth to feel comfortable, Rita maa went up to them and took Sana and Sid's  hand urging them  to sit on the sofa next to her. " shehnaaz you look even cuter in person ! Isliye toh sidharth bigg boss mein pure din tumhe dekhta rehta tha." Teased neetu di making both the love birds blush like tomatoes. " Its really nice to meet you shehnaaz, Sid se kaal hum jab mile show ke baad he was only talking about you." Added preeti di smiling warmly at the couple. " Hayee sachi ! kya kahan isne mere baare mein !" asked shehnaaz excitedly forgetting about her shyness. Rita maa chuckled at her antics, caressing the back of her head " yahi ki tume kitna pyaar diya isse throughout the show!" she added making shehnaaz smile widely at her.

Shehnaaz quickly hugged her and then went over to hug the two sisters, laughing and chit chatting non stop with them even when she just met them. Sidharth was watching this interaction silently with a small smile playing on his lips, happy that the most important people in his life approved of her. When neetu di asked her to show her the dance she teased sidharth with, she laughed brightly before proceeding to do the steps. However, she had forgotten that she was wearing Sidharth's clothes which were so much bigger than her and she slipped on the bottom of his sweatpants. She closed her eyes anticipating the fall but was surprised to be engulfed in Sidharth's arms instead. Sidharth was looking at her with a concerned expression, he quickly set her down and took hold of her arms " aaram se nahi kar sakti gadhi ! Abhi lag jata toh. Ab chal dining table pe isse pehle tu apna muh todh le." " hayee tu meri itni care karta hai." Replied shehnaaz unbothered about almost falling and hurting herself. Sidharth let out a " pakka mat ab" before taking her to the dining room asking his family to follow. " Mom apne kya banaya hai I missed your food so much !" asked sidharth once everyone was seated on the table, with shehnaaz nuzzled in his arm on the couch side of the table talking to neetu and preeti di who were sitting opposite to them.

Maa who was sitting at the head of the table, smiled at her son " Tera favourite pooha hai, main abhi leke aati hu." " Main help kar deti hu" said shehnaaz starting to get up before sidharth pulled her down " koi zaroorat nahi hai. Phir ghir jayegi. Neetu di aap mom ki help kardo aur mere liye chai bana do pleaseeee. Itne din se apki chai nahi pi." He ended looking at neetu di with puppy eyes " Bilkul nahi badla yeh. Abhi bhi koi kaam nahi karta." Said neetu di while rolling her eyes making shehnaaz chuckle. Sidharth lightly slapped the back of her head before continuing to answer preeti di's questions about his and Sana's stay in the house.

While in the kitchen, neetu di said to Rita maa " Sid ka naya side dekhne ko mil raha hai na maa ! Did you see how he is so protective over Sana. Usko pyaar bhi karta hai aur usse daata bhi hai." " haan sahi keh rahi ho. Bohot time baad usse itna khush dekha hai kisi ke saath. Sana uska behaviour bohot acche se handel karti hai." Ended Rita maa smiling fondly and wishing the best for the two.

When they went back to the dining room, they laughed loudly at the site before them. Sid was sitting with a bored expression on his face while shehnaaz was making two pony tails on his over grown hair giggling cutely with Preeti di who was laughing uncontrollably. The shuklas realized that Shehnaaz was just what was missing from Sidharth's life.
