Chapter 7

" A new virus- tentatively named COVID 19 or corona has been spreading in mainland china and other parts of the world. While the effects of the virus are-" Sidharth zoned out, going deep into thought. If the virus was even remotely serious it would wreck havoc everywhere, he mused. While he was deep in thought, he failed to notice shehnaaz slowly coming out of his  their room wearing his blue t shirt.

Shehnaaz loved wearing his oversized t shirts, his smell gave her immense comfort and peace. Last night, she had anticipated Sid to ravage her completely, but to her disappointed since he didn't want to "overwhelm" her he had stopped after some kissing. She quietly grumbled in annoyance, as she made her way to him in the living room. When she saw Sidharth was deep in thought and NOT paying attention to her presence, a mischievous idea  came to her mind. Going back a few steps she ran forward and jumped onto poor Sid.

"FUCK! ABBEY SHEHNAAZ !! yeh tu kya kar rahi hai be. Meri haadi tut jaati abhi, gadhi." Even as he was scolding his big baby, he readjusted her in his lap so that she was straddling him. Sana in turn let out cute giggles, unaffected by his scolding she was used to it by now! She bought both of her hands and squeezed his cheeks together, making his lips pout. " ab tujhe mujhe chodh kar yeh boring news mein zyada interest hai ?? Ganda bacha. Yeh teri punishment thi samjha." Sidharth rolled his eyes and quickly freed his face from her hands and kissed her on the lips. " Abhi toh soh ke uthi hai. Anyways, NEWS is important gadhi. Hume duniya ke baare mein kaise pata chalega phir." He explained smiling at the dramatic bored expression " Mujhe kya lena dena hai, tu hai na kuch hoga toh tu mujhe bata dega. Maine bola tha na, tu hi meri duniya hai, sab kuch hi hai tu." She replied earnestly before snuggling into his arms, it was still quite early in the moring she could use some sleep or some scroll time on social media.

Sidharth pecked her forehead in affection before handing her phone to her ( so that she won't get bored in 2 minutes and interrupt his NEWS session). While Sana got preoccupied in looking at her social media, Sid continued watching the news, one hand absently stroking her naked thighs. Sana had stopped wearing shorts of any kind when it was just the two of them in the house, he obviously didn't mind. The more he saw the news the more tensed he got. If this really turned into a pandemic, everyone would be locked in their homes, travel would be impossible. If that did happen he would just ask Sana to stay with him, while he was planning all of this in his head a strange realization came to his mind.

Sana had become increasingly agreeable these days; she would never say no to him for anything or question him at all. While this wasn't problematic, it certainly was something to be pondered about. Sana had a strong personality and had always been fiercely independent, she had to be he mused she didn't really have a happy childhood. Sid had also noticed how she would constantly look for his approval, even while doing small things, like ordering them food, choosing her outfits heck even making future plans with her family and friends! While she did exhibit similar behaviour in the BB house, it still wasn't this intense. 

Sidharth was an extremely dominant person, and that was partly why none of his previous relationships had lasted. Many of his previous girlfriends were even quite similar to him and had similar habits, but they still weren't able to keep up with his need to control everything around him. Sana was so different to him in everything and yet she had seamlessly adjusted herself into his life. Even now, she was peacefully sitting in his lap, while he watched the news, when he knew she would rather be doing anything else. She was content with his silences, with his bossy nature, with his never-ending list of questions, his different lifestyle. He knew that if he told her to stay here with him and leave Punjab, she would just agree no questions asked.
