By now you already know the tale of Coraline Jones. The blue-haired girl who wore her raincoat for exploring with matching rain boots discovered a strange replica of her world. Her mother and father moved in a old house (The Pink Palace) with neighbors who lived in the basement and the attic. Coraline was a curious girl who like to venture and explore, while her parents were preoccupied with work to write on the computers for their catalogs and articles. That is until, the owner's grandson named Wybie found a doll that looked just like Coraline herself. With the doll, Coraline had to find something to do to entertain herself, counting windows, doors, or anything that is blue, really. But there was one Coraline found that made her curious to know it's origin. A small door which at first with rust red bricks behind it, thought at night or whenever Coraline's leave home, there was a small portal that lead to elsewhere. A world parallel similar to the real one but with life and warmness that has been well taken care of.

Upon her discovery, Coraline saw that there was other  versions of her parents, neighbors and Wybie. All had buttons for eyes. Of the first two visits, everything seemed rather normal with delicious home made meals and entertainment. Soon to discover it wasn't all that it seemed to be. Warned by the cat Coraline met earlier in the real world after the show with the other Miss Spink and Miss Forcible, she was given a box of containing a pair of black shiny buttons, a spool of matching colored thread and needle.

"No way! You're not sewing buttons in my eyes!" she proclaimed.

"But we need a 'yes' if you want to stay here." her Other Mother reassured while pushing the box back to Coraline while the other father explained that the needle is so sharp she couldn't feel a thing. After her refusal to stay in the strange world and accepting her fate of paradise, Coraline had learned the horrible truth. There were three other kids before her that their lives were snatched by the Beldam, disguising herself as the children's mothers to lure them with treasures, treats and games to play. In order to steal their lives for her own vanity and vitality.  Coraline would take a risk challenging The Beldam in game. It was no secret that she likes games. A finding things games and there were only four things she had to find; the eyes of the ghost children and her real parents.

Managing to spot from different areas from the triangular green stone from the real Miss Spink and Miss Forcible. Seeing the world in faded from it's colors. As soon as all three items that were each eyes, Coraline went to confront The Beldam. Though there was one last task that had to be completed before claiming her freedom, she needed to find her real parents. Though Coraline knew what her other mother was capable of. Even though she would win fair and square, but the beldam would double cross her and never let her go. So Coraline tricked her by falsely declaring her parents behind the small door and throw the cat at her. Coraline manage to escape with the help of the ghost children's strength, freeing her parents though they had no memory of their abduction.

Sadly, that was not the end it as The Beldam's disembodied hand with a life of it's own followed Coraline at night as she snuck away to throw the black button key down the well. Wybie came destroying the needle made hand, only to come back to explain himself after he ran out from the house from Coraline's outburst.

Now that The Beldam no longer interfered with the real world Coraline and her family could now live in peace.

Or so she thought...
