Chapter 7

The next morning we got up kind of early and made our way to the bigger cabin for a breakfast they were putting together. Walking up the steps, you could smell the bacon wafting out from the windows.

"Mmmmm" I hummed, my mouth watering already. We knocked on the door and Jace appeared a few seconds later opening the door. I noticed he was still in his jammies.

"You guys didn't have to knock, you could've just walked in" he said as he moved to the side to let us in.

"You left the door unlocked? What if we were serial killers?" Tanner asked and Jace rolled his eyes.

"I have two macho men that'd protect me, right?" Jace said as we walked into the little kitchen area.

"Yes" Damon and Sebastian answered together as they attended to the stovetop of sizzling bacon, eggs and pancakes. I looked around and seen that everyone was in their pajama's still, making me feel a little overdressed.

"Yes!...wait what are we agreeing to?" Dakota questioned from the couch making us laugh. We walked over and sat in the empty spaces of the other couch with Ryder.

"Jace said he had two macho men to protect him from serial killers" I answered and Dakota scoffed and glared at Jace.

"What? I'm not macho enough to protect you from serial killers?"

"Eh, not on the front lines at least" Jace chuckled "You're needed, to hold me until the bad guys are gone" he added and gave Dakota a kiss on the cheek.

"I could always hold you Jem!" Matt piped up, making Dakota grab Jace quickly and place him on his lap.

"Nope" he said with a pop of the 'p' "My job" he said nuzzling his nose into Jace's hair. Just then my phone buzzed. I grabbed it out and smiled when I seen Lydia's name displayed on the top. I miss my best friend so much.

"Who's that?" Tanner asked.

"Lydia, she says she's bored to death without me" I chuckled and started to reply to her.

"Who is Lydia?" Ryder asked trying to make conversation.

"She's my best friend" I beamed "She actually tried convincing me to bring her with but I didn't think she'd enjoy being the only girl"

"Yeah and we kind of have a full house already on the RV" Tanner added and I nodded.

"You guys would love her though, she's bubbly, fun and super friendly"

"Maybe our next get together we could meet her" Jace offered with a small smile.

"She would enjoy that" I said as I told her what we were talking about.

"So, what is on the agenda today?" Ryder directed his question to Damon and Sebastian.

"Well, there's the skylift and the mountain coaster we could do" Sebastian said as he held out plates and utensils toward Dakota and Jace."Boys, set the table please"

"Alright mom" Dakota retorted, patting Jace's butt to get him to hop off of his lap. They both grabbed the plates and utensils, neatly placing them on the table.

"Aww Jace, aren't you a cute little house wife" Matt snickered, Jace just stuck his tongue out in return.

"Food's done" Damon announced as Sebastian and him carried the plates of food to the middle of the table. "You'll have to grab your own drinks, we got OJ, water, apple juice or coke" he added and gestured to the fridge.

"Did you guys go shopping?" I asked and Sebastian nodded.

"Went last night, why do you think we said we'd cook breakfast?" he asked with a chuckle.

"Oh, duh" I laughed and sat down at the table. I felt a hand on my shoulder and a presence by my head.

"What do you want to drink?" Tanner asked

"OJ please" I said while glancing at him, he pecked my cheek and I smiled widely. This is great and to be so open about it with friends. Granted , they are a special type of friends that are similarly in the same situation but still.

We finished breakfast while chit chatting here and there about random stuff before Tanner and I offered to clean up the table and Matt and Ryder washed the dirty dishes. The six of them excused themselves to get dressed quick while Tanner and I just lounged on the couch by the fireplace.

"I'm thinking of bleaching my hair tonight" Tanner said out of the blue while he twirled his finger around the locks of my hair.

"Why?" I asked while resting my hand on his thigh, rubbing circles with my thumb.

"Just so there is a difference" he shrugged "I know it's not much but I love your silky smooth hair too much for you to fry it with bleach, so I figure why not"

"You'd have to like bleach your eye brows" I told him with my eyebrows raised.

"I'd do it for you" his fingers lightly grazed down my cheek. I subconsciously leaned into his touch.

"Would you jump off a bridge for me?" I teased and he had a thoughtful look on his face.

"Only if you were jumping with me and we were connected to a bungee cord" he answered back, leaning closer to me.

"Sounds like a plan" I whispered before connecting our lips. I hummed in satisfaction, his soft lips feel so good against mine. I felt his hands on my waist, pulling me over to where I was straddling his lap. I cupped his face with both of my hands, while his hands found their place on my ass and squeezing lightly. I nipped his bottom lip and he parted his lips, letting my tongue explore his mouth with no tongue fight. He let out a soft moan when I rolled my hips, causing a beautiful friction between us.

"Ahem" a voice sounded, making us freeze and snap our heads over to see the six of them standing by the kitchen, staring at us with looks of interest on their faces.

"As much as most of us would like you guys to continue with this erotic scene, we got things to see and places to be" Dakota piped up.

"Not even gonna lie, all of us would've liked to see" Matt whispered with a light blush on his face. Ryder whipped his head toward him in surprise.

"Always so straightforward" Jace said with a chuckle, wrapping an arm around Matt's shoulders.

"Anywhooo, let's go" Dakota said when Damon and Sebastian turned and headed for the front door. I got off of Tanner and we both had to adjust ourselves from the previous actions.

The first place we went to was the mountain coasters. It was great because a couple times Tanner and I got to ride together. Everyone enjoyed going on the coaster a bunch of times. Our next adventure was going to the Skylift park.

When we got to the place, we took the Skylift to the Skydeck where we could take pictures, look in those tourist binoculars and just sit and enjoy the view of the city and the Smokey mountains.

"Heights...why does it always have to be heights" Jace muttered as we finally made it on to the Skybridge. "I swear you all are trying to give me a heart attack" he pouted.

"You'll be fine, plus if anything happens. We all die with you" Matt said making Jace look at him with a deadpan stare.

"Yeah, because that makes me feel soooooo much better Mattsy" he glared at him then Damon wrapped his arms around Jace, making them waddle together. He leant down and whispered in Jace's ear. Whatever he said made Jace blush and relax against him. We eventually got to the highest point of the bridge which is 150 feet above ground. There is also a glass bottom where we were standing on, that you can look directly down.

"Will you take a picture with me, Matthew?" Ryder asked.

"Yeah" Matt said with a smile. the other four were also taking turns taking photos of each other. I'll have to make sure to get a picture of all four together, I mentally made a reminder.

"I can take it, if you guys want" I offered and Ryder handed me his phone and stood next to Matt with a smile. Matt glanced at him before he wrapped his arm around Ryder's waist. Instantly, Ryder's smile got wider as he leaned into Matt's side. I internally 'Awww'ed at how cute they are. I took a couple pictures before Matt out of nowhere decided to place a kiss on Ryder's cheek. A look of absolute shock was placed on Ryder's face before he settled back on smiling sweetly. I snapped a couple more, knowing Matt did that for the camera along with his own pleasure.

"I'll take some of you and Tanner" Matt beamed at me as they parted from their position. I gave Ryder his phone back and then gave Matt my phone. Ryder smiled widely as he swiped through the pictures just taken. Tanner and I posed on the other side of the bridge together, we took a few normal then Tanner kissed me after looking back and forth on the bridge for other onlookers.

After our pictures were done, I quickly took my phone and rushed over to Damon.

"Hey, I can get all four of you" I told him and he gave me a smile and nodded giving me their phones. Tanner walked up next to me and grabbed two of the phones.

"Double fisting picture time" he commented making everyone chuckle. The four of them posed normally then they all started switching places and doing goofy/sweet poses for the pictures. After a few laughs and odd positions, we were all done with pictures. We made our way to the end of the bridge. I sent the pictures of Tanner and I to Lydia and immediately I got a facetime call and I answered.

"You're telling me that you two took it to the next level and didn't bother to tell your best friend!" she screeched as soon as the connection came through. I grimaced from the high level of her voice. She was in her bedroom from what I could tell, the purple fluffy pillow was a big indicator. Her screeching earned curious looks from the rest of our group.

"I-I may have forgotten to update you on that" I said scratching the back of my head. Tanner popped his head into the camera view.

"Hey Lydia" he gave a wave. She smiled at him.

"Hi Tanner, your brother is an idiot"

"Don't I know it" he chuckled and I scoffed, moving my phone from his face. Both of them laughed and I rolled my eyes.

"Sooooo" she said

"We're together" I offered with a shrug

"OMG!!!!! Finally, I'm so happy for you two" she yelled and I smiled.

"By the way, cute pictures, I very much enjoyed the cute kissing photo" she added with a wink

"You're weird Lyd" I told her "Oh, meet the guys" I turned my phone so she could scan through all the guys and they could see her. They all waved and said a hello while I passed over each.

"Now I wish I definitely went, you're surrounded by studs" she said while fanning herself

"They are all gay Lyd" I said with a laugh and I seen Matt open his mouth "Okay, Sebastian, the tall blond hottie is bi, but taken and Matt the shorter blond hottie is in questioning" I added and Matt shut his mouth and turned beet red.

"Pfft, ruin my fun"

"Plus you have Trey" I smirked and she blushed

"I don't have him" she exasperated.

"Anyway, we are going to run to the store and buy bleach for Tan-Tan, I'll text you later Lyd"

"Alright, alright...BYE BOYS!" she laughed when they all said a 'bye' back "Bye Charlie" she said before the connection ended.

"So you're going to bleach your hair like we suggested?" Dakota asked Tanner and he nodded in response.

"Figured why not" he said with a shrug.

"We should have a movie night with smore's!" Jace chimed in.

"Sounds like the perfect idea, you guys in?" Sebastian asked the group and we all agreed filing off of the bridge and to the exit to head to the store for the goodies.

We got to the store and everyone sort of disbursed to grab the items they were looking for. Of course, Tanner and I had went to the beauty section for the hair bleach. We didn't know anything about bleaching hair but we picked up the Manic Panic hair lightening kit. We strolled through the store and met up with Matt who was picking out some of the pull apart twizzlers. I eyed some gummy bears and sour patch kids, trying to figure out which one I wanted.

"Just get both, you can share them with me" Tanner told me, making me beam at him.

"I always knew you were smart" I teased and he rolled his eyes and shoved my shoulder lightly.

"Alright, we got popcorn then the graham crackers, the Hershey's and the marshmallows" Sebastian rattled off.

"Annnnnd the cookies n creme Hershey's along with the reeses cups" Jace added with a nod of finality.

"You remembered!" I mock gasped "No, but for real that's awesome. Thank you" I gave a genuine smile then we all made our way to the check out with our items.

"It smells like it's burning my hair off" Tanner commented as I finished applying the bleach mixture to his short hair.

"Now we wait like 15-30 minutes" I trailed off "I'm not quite sure how long since we have brown hair but it's short" I shrugged.

"I better not become bald after this" Tanner grumbled.

Everyone changed into their pajama's once we got back to the cabins and now we have all of our junk food piled on the dining table, waiting to be devoured.

"What movie first?" Jace asked as he lounged with Matt and Ryder on the floor, made up of a bunch of blankets and pillows from the bedrooms.

"Final Destination!" Tanner exclaimed and Jace grimaced.

"What, you don't like scary movies?" I asked him and he shook his head.

"Not really, they give me the heebie jeebies" he said with a shudder.

"It's not that bad" Tanner tried to reason

"I know, I've seen it before. We can watch it, I just gotta make sure I have a cuddle buddy"

"Me!" Sebastian called, coming from the stairs.

"Perfect" Jace said with a nod.

"Okay, let's go rinse your hair Tan-Tan" I told Tanner as I took his arm and led him to the shower. We rinsed out his hair and used a hair mask that the check out lady suggested for after bleaching hair. I carefully rinsed his eyebrows so it didn't burn his eyes. Afterward, I grabbed a towel once I turned the water off and plopped it on Tanner's head and began a quick dry, shaking his head all around.

"Okay, okay" he laughed "Gonna give me whiplash or something" he said as he took the towel off his head.

"How's it look?" he asked. I gave a once over of his head with my finger on my chin.

"Eh" I teased and he frowned

"Really?"

"I'm kidding, you look fine either way" I said as I gave him a kiss on his lips. It was a soft loving kiss, just our lips dancing with each other.

"We should probably get down there" Tanner said pulling away.

"You're probably right" I said before connecting our lips again. He cupped my face with his hands for a few moments before pulling away again laughing.

"C'mon Char" he said intertwining our hands and pulling me from the bathroom, back to the living room where Sebastian was lying on the floor with Jace in his arms, Damon sat on one of the couches with Dakota between his legs and Matt and Ryder were just lounging next to each other on the floor. Tanner and I made our way over to the other couch and I sat down and pulled him to sit between my legs. He sat down and laid his back against my chest. I wrapped my arms around his torso and squeezed him lightly while placing a light kiss to his shoulder. He placed his arms over mine and clasped our fingers together.

The night was spent watching Final Destination and then Skyscraper. Jace passed out half way through the second movie so Sebastian carried him up to their bedroom. We cleaned up as much as we could of the junk food wrappers while yawning our heads off before we finally made it out the door and over to our own little cabin. We took a quick shower with no hanky panky time since it was already 2am.

"Are we leaving tomorrow or the day after?" I asked as we snuggled into the cozy bed.

"Well technically 'tomorrow' is today as it is 2am" Tanner replied smartly.

"You know what I meant" I huffed at him and he laughed, tightening his arms around me.

"We wake up twice before we leave lovely" he said softly. I could tell sleep was overtaking him slowly.

"Alright" I yawned "I love you Tanner" I told him quietly.

"Night, I love you" he said before his breaths started to even out. I smiled and snuggled back against him more.

"I'm so in love with you" I whispered into the darkness before letting my eyes droop close.
