Quick A/N: My character building will be done, how I envision them, hope you enjoy!

I stood in the LAAT gunship, the hissing of the doors closing was heard, as a small clanking noise was made as it shut, the GAR Radio blared over the blown speaker system playing distorted house music of some sort. The gunship lifted slowly, teetering slightly at first, stopping once we moved, the pouring of rain hitting the top of the ship thumped.

The gunship full of ARC Troopers entered the main hangar bay of the Resolute, the rayshield buzzed once reactivated, red sparks flaked off. The doors creaked open, while we all exited in groups of 5, loud marching filled the hangar, boots clattering against the durasteel flooring, Echo and I diverted the course of the rest, heading to our quarters.
We reached Room B2390, one of many living quarters aboard the ship, entering the digits '8108', as the door slid open.

"Ey, boys!" Hardcase screeched, his head swayed and bobbed in what I presume is some sort of excitement, his head shot over to Echo, as my jittery brother grinned mischievously as he cocked his legs back and hopped out of his seat. Echo cocked a brow up, and rose his hands slightly, "Woah there, Hardcase, don't want you slipping again." Echo recalled several occasions where the hyperactive clone faceplanted on these very floors, while Hardcase just leaped at Echo landing directly atop of him. Echo shrieked "Ow! Christ, vod'ika. I just got here!", he was more than irritated as he pushed his angsty little brother off of him, but I couldn't help but snicker about the situation, Echo stood first, Hardcase followed shortly after, diving onto his bed, making a loud thud and shake of the bed frame.

Kix was trying to sleep on the top bunk of Hardcase's bed, trying to sleep he let out a dramatic sigh, groaning out "Can you three be quiet? It's too late for this nonsense to start again." as he flipped over. Hardcase just scoffed at the remark, "Fine, I'll be quiet when you stop whining." snapping back proudly, a smirk overtook his face, Echo just rubbed at his eyes, a mix of confused and tired, plopping down onto a chair.

Kix just closed his eyes, and adjusted his blanket, he made it clear he was sick of Hardcase during our absence, and although I love the bugger, I truly can't blame Kix, it's sorta like Hardcase is on a constant sugar rush, only crashing around 3 AM.

I decided to fold in, as my day was too long to have to stay up playing Sabacc with Echo like usual. I popped my armour plating off, putting them in the bin they keep under our bed, finally placing my commlink on the nightstand, always ready for late night Rex comms. After I had finished prepping for sleep, my legs were all but limp from a day of standing around until we had to sprint, so I let myself fall back onto the bed, ducking to avoid smacking my noggin on the top-bunk. My legs spun, positioning myself on my back, not bothering to lift my blanket. My eyes slowly shut, as I dozed off into slumber, having optimism Hardcase wouldn't do anything stupid tonight, as he focuses more on elaborate pranks than helping us plan battles. Before I knew it, I was asleep, and though I hoped it wouldn't, it already started.

The Nightmare.

I was alone, walking around the foggy planet, the hot and humid air had me sweating through my blacks. Odd, there must be something wrong with my cooling system, 'Gotta get that checked out' I thought to myself. All of a sudden, the blaster fire had reached me, flashes of blue and green were all I saw through the fog, the deafening sound of my dying brothers screaming sickened me. Loud clanking of the droid army was more prominent now, I couldn't see them anywhere so I decided to tip down my antenna, hoping to be able to scan them. "Blast!" I yelled in frustration, giving away my location, I frantically looked for cover, but there was none to be found. The red blaster bolts of the B2s flew toward me, I just barely weaved through them, this time around I heard louder footsteps from- behind me? Before I could turn around, I had been gunned down from both angles.

"Fives? Ey, Fives. Cmon, Fives." I heard in my mind, I shot up, panting, sweat trickling down my face, the same sweat I felt in the dream was a reality, my back drenched. "You alright Fives?" Echo's head was dangling down from the top bunk, his face one of concern. "Wha'ya wan?" I slurred slightly, my head throbbed, my face turned into one of grimace due to the discomfort my headache brought me.

"Mission planning in a few hours, something about General Piell," Echo scratched at his nape "I think."

I thought for a second, still slightly dazed "Isn't he locked in the uh, The Citadel?" Echo just nodded, sitting back up and crawling to the ladder. He made a remark as he slid down "Hopefully this will be easier than the Citadel training course back home.", an attempt to suppress his sneer failed, as it overtook his face.

He reached his hand out, as I took it he pulled me off the bed, kicking my legs out and planting my feet on ground. "There we are." Echo said, his sneer had long vanished, a content smile was all I saw on his face. "You look wide awake, you already hit the 'fresher?" I was eying his already damp hair. "Yeah, but it's a mess in there, the bar of soap had 3 hairs in it. Oh, and I think somebody took a leak during their shower, 'cause something reeked." I couldn't help but laugh, it isn't an often occurrence for Echo to crack a few jokes or tease anybody. "I'll leave you to it, maybe go bug Rex 'til he let's you use his 'fresher, it'll work every now and then." Echo advised, putting his armour plates on.

I nodded, replying with "Sure thing vod, catch you at the messhall, yeah?" Echo nodded, still smiling "I'll see you there, Fives, bring me my helmet when you're done." Heading to the door, he pressed the panel, as the door slid open.

I grabbed a fresh pair of blacks, and slid on my boots, leaving the dresser hanging open. As I left the room, I couldn't bother to close the door, speed walking down the hall to Rex's personal quarters, 'I guess he has one because of his rank', I thought to myself, coming to a halt at room C7567, I still had zero clue whether that was coincidence or Rex's ego.

[Rex's POV]

I sat at my desk, procrastinating. Slamming was heard from the door, I stood up, letting out a light sigh as I walked over to see who it is, tapping the door panel and stepping back a bit.

"Hey Rex ol' pal!" Fives said enthusiastically, he's either really excited to see me again, or he's buttering me up for something, likely the latter. "May I help you, Fives?" I rose a brow, skeptical. "Why of course sir, It's why I'm here." Fives smirked, holding his blacks and nodding in the direction of my refresher, I couldn't be bothered to fight with Fives over the use of a shower. "You have 10 minutes, if you take any longer, I parade you around the halls fully nude. Understood?"

Fives flushed slightly, giving a light nervous chuckle. "Uh, sir, yes, sir?" I stepped aside, allowing him to wash up, as he jogged in, smacking the door panel and running into the refresher. "YOUR TIME STARTS NOW!" I yelled from the other side, as the was heard, followed by a loud crank of the knob.

[Fives' POV]

"123, 124, 125." I counted as I vigorously scrubbed with Rex's spare loofa, the one that isn't tainted. The refresher filled with steam, I wrung out the loofa over my head, rubbing the soap into my hair.

About 4 more minutes passed by the time I finished bathing, I turned the water off, and slid the drape open. I grabbed a towel and wiped myself down, putting on a pair of boxers, before snooping through Rex's medicine cabinet. I couldn't help but chuckle at the sight of hair bleach and hair gel. I took the gel out and hit the door panel, exiting to see Rex sitting at his desk.

"So uh, Rex, 'ol boy," I held the gel out "what do you use this for? You're bald!" Rex let out a groan, rubbing at his eyes "It's for when we're going on extended battles or sieges, you are aware hair grows, right vod'ika?" I shrugged, playing stupid to piss him off. "Well I thought your hair was dead, considering you have like 4 boxes of bleach in there."

Rex let out a loud nasal exhale "Hair doesn't live, you dumbass. Pack it up, get dressed and go." I gave a small nod "Yeah, yeah." I walked back into the refresher, putting my blacks and boots on.

As I walked back out, I decided to mess with Rex a bit more. "See you at the briefing, Cyar'ika." I said in a mocking seductive tone, winking at him. "Ah, shut the hell up you creep." Rex waved me off.
